Don't use the QC/usbA socket for Apple stuff

Don't use the QC/usbA socket for Apple stuff
I liked the idea of 3 sockets, compared to the 2 on my current 12V car charger. I tried the various sockets in various combinations to see if it performed as claimed. It did better than I expected in one way, and worse in another. The good news - as the first picture shows, the label on it states outputs for each socket individually, and one PD/QC combination. I was expecting either PD/QC combination would drop everything to 5V only, but as it turns out, than only happens when using the PD2+QC combination - not when using PD1+QC or PD1+PD2.The bad news to be aware of - The QC socket on this charger is the last place you want to plug an iPhone or iPad into. Doing so only gives 1/2 amp at 5V. On a different 12V charger with a PD and QC socket, the QC gave 1 amp at 5V. On a 120Vac PD/QC charger, the QC gave 1.9 amp to the iPad and 1.7 amp to the iPhone. So if you get this, and you have apple devices, only connect them to the PD sockets, unless you want a slooooow charge. The last thing to know is that the illumination ring is annoyingly bright. In the 2 comparison pictures, the rectangular light is my car's factory usb-A socket, which is perfect brightness. The 2-socket 12V charger I have is very similar in brightness. This one is much brighter, as you can see from the glow around it. The other thing - the glow is a truer indication of its colour. My phone camera picks it up as almost white, but it is a deeper blue, like the glow in the picture. If they had paid more attention to the light level, I would have given 5 stars.

This charger feels solid and works great. The 2 USB C ports reportedly comply with PD standard and charge any of my USB C devices quickly. I tested the USB C sockets with my iPad Air and a set of bluetooth headphones. A bonus 3 ft USB C to USB C cable is included. The USB A port complies with QC standard, reportedly supplying 30W. Using a USB A to Apple lightning cabvle, my iPhone 13 charged very quickly.

It is great to have the convenience of 3 charging ports in one compact device.

I had an issue in one of my vehicles where the 12V socket is at the side of the console, and there was insufficient clearance to insert the charger. But it was fine in another socket in the same vehicle and in 2 other vehicles I tested it in. Just be aware that you may have an issue if your 12v socket is very close to the side of the console or in a small recess.

This sixty-seven-watt dual USB-C and USB-A car phone charger is great! When this car phone charger arrived, it came in a small, good quality, black/clear plastic zip lock bag. The individual pieces in the package were again wrapped in white plastic to ensure they were not damaged during shipping and handling.

I was not expecting to receive a USB-C to USB-C cord in the package. The cord that comes in the package is coiled up nicely and kept together with a velcro strap. The cord itself is about three feet long. The quality of the car adapter/charger for the cigarette lighter in your car is really good and I have to say that I am pretty impressed. Around the bottom edge of the car adapter/charger, there is a metal coating around the outside for extra protection. This metal coating piece also adds to the look of this dual USB-C and USB-A car phone charger, making it look even more sharp. The orange and blue on the car adapter/charger are also a nice touch and add to the overall look of the car adapter/charger.

Overall I am pretty happy with this dual USB-C and USB-A car phone charger. A few of my favorite features about this charger that make it so good is the overall quality, the look of the car adapter/charger itself, how fast your devices charge while using this adapter/charger and lastly that it has three ports so you are able to charge more than one device at one time.

I've been upgrading my car phone chargers to the USB C standard, and this one fits the bill quite nicely with two USB C slots and a third USB A slot for backwards compatibility.

This device charges my phone quite fast. Certainly faster than my old 2.4A charger. I believe the top USB C is rated at 37W and the other USB C and USB A slots are 30W. This is in parallel, so two phones can be charged super-fast now.

This charger does stick out a bit more from the cigarette lighter than my older charger, but being able to charge 3 phones at high speed all once is well worth it.

Money well spent! These car chargers are ubiquitous now, so getting a brand name and spending more is really not worth it in this day and age.

This car charger comes in a basic cardboard box and includes the charger and one cable.

Easy to use and it works by plugging into your cigarette lighter port. The charging time is reasonable. The only issue I have is that the blue light ring always stays on, even when the car is off and locked and my concern is that this uses the battery (albeit very slowly), and while it's likely to not drain the battery, there is no need to have the blue light always on, and you don't really need a light at all.

Yea, all new cars come with charging ports. But what are you going to do if you want to charge a laptop? Sure you can get a wall plug power inverter, but with this there is no need. This cigarette lighter adapter is more than enough to charge my laptop with ease. It also comes in handy for charging your phone or any other low power devices in older vehicles.

The build quality is excellent. It is made with plastic and metal and feels very solid. I have not experienced any overheating issues even after a couple of hours of max charge.

Overall, this gets a very strong recommendation from me.
