Lights were very easy to connect (for the most part). I had to hold my phone practically on top of each light on my chandelier for them to be detected. I mention this because you need to be 3ft away when syncing-and in my case, practically right on top of each bulb. The product did however, sync with my Alexa quite easily which was awesome! I was worried about my chandelier being on a dimmer switch and was worried that it may not work. It's working fine though. I'm just not going to use the switch to control the dimming feature. Why? When Alexa can do that too! Haha I haven't set up a time for these lights to go on as I don't really require that, but it is a possibility!As a note, I had originally ordered sengled lights before this. There was no mention that I needed a hub to operate them. So I then had to order a hub once I received my lights. 2 light bulbs never would connect and I couldn't get ahold of anyone in their customer service department so I returned both. So if you're wondering which product is better... Go with these if you don't want to purchase a hub and struggle with getting the bulbs to sync.
