The Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (500ml) is generously sized for a skin cleanser product and is priced economically. I was excited to try it as my skin is very sensitive to changing weather conditions and also to the environment I’m in. I break out in hives and my skin gets itchy very easily so I am very careful with the products I use on my skin, both my face and body. I first tried it in the shower instead of my usual face and body cleansers. It was difficult to know if I was really cleaning all the areas because this cleanser does not foam up at all. I usually use a cloth to apply my cleanser and I found I had to continually apply it and used quite a lot of product just for one shower. After rinsing my skin felt like it had a thin film all over and I didn’t feel squeaky clean. Each time I used it, I was tempted to rewash using my regular products. The plus us is my skin did not react adversely to it and I realized after a few uses that I did not need to apply as much moisturizing body lotion as I usual. I also discovered that after my work outs, I’d rub the cleanser on my hands and arms and wipe it off with a cloth as this cleanser can be used with or without water and voila, I had clean skin that felt moisturized. I recommend it for anyone who has very sensitive skin. The light film takes some getting used to but I’ve been using it as a moisturizing cleanser and it does the job.

I have a whole set of beauty items that I incorporate into my daily regime. Ever since the last few years, I have stopped using soap as it dries up my skin and causes flaking and sometimes even a burning sensation due to excessive dryness after a shower.
The first thing that struck out to me, was the labelling that mentioned it is a soap-free formula. Also it is rich in B3 and B5, which are extremely important in strengthening the skin and creating that sort of barrier that keeps your skin feeling smooth and looking healthy always. I am very picky about what I use on my skin these days and I was pleasantly happy to notice that it was parabens free, hypoallergenic and fragrance free. The best part about it is a moisturiser not just for your face, but also for your body in general on your skin. The hydration factor is fantastic and keeps your skin and you feeling rejuvenated and fresh. I use it at the end of a busy work day, and it's great as it makes me feel energetic and pleasantly more like I just started the day all over again.
I'm really glad to have been given the chance to try it as it is a fantastic product and on top of that had it not been for this, I would have never tried or considered this brand. I had always seen it in the store, but never considered it till now. The bottle is conveniently packaged and easy to carry around and also use. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product to use that produces the needed results.

And on top of that it's Made in Canada which is fantastic. Two thumbs up!!

I find this Cetaphil foaming cleanser to be very pleasant to use. I gave it 5 stars for scent because there isn't any. It is gentle and great for sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling very soft and clean with no residue. I love the feeling of the foam on my skin as it is non-irritating. I believe this cleanser would be useful for different types of skin - oily or dry, and for both young and older people.
