Very Stable Solid Metal!
I was sceptical due to so many reviews with concerns that the screw attachment was too short. It is! Hard to believe that Celestron (after so many years) would still be providing that flimsy plastic mount, albeit with a longer screw. And their upgraded metal mount (sold separately) has a dangerously shorter screw. You’d think it would have this same obvious basic hardware. Where’s their management and product control? Shameful.SOLUTION: Simply remove that ridiculous 1/4” plastic riser thats attached and just use the small rubber washer. It has plenty of screw room now and can be tightened down with virtually no movements. Wonderfully simple fix!

With this adapter, the binoculars are always ready and the focus is already set on the backyard bird feeder. The bracket itself is really solid and stable when installed. It’s now giving back a second life to an old set of Taylor binoculars who were gathering dust in a closet. I highly recommend for any serious bord watchers out there.

This item is as described. Solid built and works perfectly for my Vortex Diamondback HD binoculars. Attaches to the binoculars fairly easy unless you have big hands. It might be dicey if that is the case. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

Me parece un poco pequeño pero el material es de un metal descente. No presenta juego al acoplarlo a los binoculares ni al tripié. Para apretarlo es suficiente con la fuerza de la mano, aunque para estar más seguros sería pridente apretarlo con alguna herramienta.

Stabil men skruven där man fäster kikaren lossnar lätt. Det räcker därför inte dra fast den med handkraft utan man behöver ett verktyg typ skiftnyckel eller tång. Det borde ha varit en vingmutter eller vanlig mutter så man kan dra åt riktigt hårt med verktyg. Kvaliteten är "så där" så att säga så lite dyr med tanke på kvaliteten.
