This is a terrific product. I prefer to carry a small handbag and don't always have pockets, so being able to carry my cell phone crossbody is a perfect solution for me. It's not heavy or uncomfortable. The gold clasps are secure. The gold chain is interwoven with a bone/ivory strap, à la Chanel. Yes, you do need a phone case to use this, but no problem. I just bought a phone case. Practical, convenient, economical, attractive. A definite thumbs-up from me.

This phone strap was super easy to install and it looks and feels high quality. It is a bit heavy, but I prefer that over being worried it could snap! I used it on my recent trip to Disneyland and I loved how easy it made it for me to snap a quick picture or check the app. It was really convenient not to have to dig around in my bag. My only complaint is that I wish they offered longer straps to make it more plus size friendly. It fit a bit shorter on me than I would have preferred, but for a mid size or smaller person it would be perfect!

I bought this to use while traveling, so I could wear pants without a back pocket and still have my phone handy. It was so convenient to be able to grab the phone any time. I will continue to use it at home, even sometimes when I'm wearing jeans but want to access the phone frequently.
The one down side is that the insert makes the phone sit not-quite-the-same inside the case, and I have to pop the end of the phone out of the case in order to charge it.

Another co-worker, a 78 year old special education teacher also bought the chain to use with her phone. Women's clothes do not always have pockets, and when they do they are not always functional enough. I tried a clip-on case, and again, clothes do not always accommodate the clip-on (dresses, yoga pants). This works.
