This printer is the best printer I've ever purchased. It's so easy to set up and takes literally 10 minutes no lie! Really am enjoying this printer. I do however wish the ink lasted longer but I'm still extremely happy

The print quality is solid - sharp and vibrant. I've used it for work and even printed a few photos, and it handled everything well. It's wireless too, which is a game-changer. No more dealing with annoying cables all over the place.

One thing to note is that it's pretty compact, which is great for saving space on my desk. The white color gives it a clean look, too. The only downside is that it can be a bit slow when printing lots of pages at once. It's not a speed demon, but it gets the job done.

I haven't had any issues with connectivity or paper jams, so that's a plus. Overall, for the price, I'd say it's a good deal. If you want a reliable printer for basic printing needs and don't mind a bit of patience for bigger jobs, the Canon PIXMA TS3420 is worth checking out.

For its price, this printer is good value. Printing is quite slow but quality is good. The scanner and copier functions work just right.

The only major problem so far is connecting via a Wi-Fi network. It's a pain. The software is wonky and you can ONLY connect to this printer in the 2.4 GHz band. It forced me to split my home Wi-Fi in two, one 2.4 GHz and another 5 GHz, just so we have a band where the printer can be available to all devices in the house.

When installing this printer for the first time, you should ditch Wi-Fi and connect via a Printer USB cable - which DO NOT come with this item. You need to either use one you already own or include a new Printer USB in your order.

Another minor issue is that ink cartridges that comes with the printer is not full; they run out fast. Make sure to include an extra set of cartridges in your purchase, you'll need them.

The printer itself is pretty decent as far as cost, print quality, print speed etc. Be aware that you NEED a WPS capable router or AP to make this work. If you are running your wifi off of something like EERO or other devices that do not have WPS you can not connect to this printer. I have both systems so was able to WPS pair it to my router, however about once a week or so it just loses its wifi connection (the only device in my house with this issue) and has to be reconnected through the WPS process again which is annoying since I don’t print a lot and have to pair it nearly every time I need to print.

As far as appearance, the top is just grey, not silver as it may appear in the picture. Mine came new in box fully factory sealed, however the front and side of the printer showed yellowing of the white plastic right out of the box, they way old plastic yellows over time. Not sure if it’s something from the packaging or what. It’s under a desk so not a big deal, but if it was out in the open it would not look super nice.

Today's date is November 22, 2023 and I purchased my printer on May 8, 2023.

One of the reasons this printer is inexpensive is because it does not have a ton of extra features and it does not come with ink, (or paper).

Keep in mind that many of the more expensive printers that do include ink often include ink cartridges that are only half or partially full, just enough for you to test pages when setting up and then you have to buy new full ones anyway! That has been my experience with three well known, brand name, much more expensive printers and in all three cases when I upgraded my laptops, the printers were no longer compatible. So I never spend hundreds of dollars on printers anymore.

The ink I bought is:
Canon Genuine Pg-245 Ink Twin Pack

The paper I bought is:
AmazonBasics Multipurpose Copy Printer Paper - 96 Bright White, 8.5 x 11 Inches, 1 Ream (500 Sheets)

When I bought my printer on May 8, 2023 I paid $69.94 for the printer, $17.11 for the paper, and $45.50 for the ink. This machine works great, is easy to use and I have had no problems with at all! It has so far exceeded my expectations for such an inexpensive machine! Today's price point for this printer is $49.00 ( black friday deal) which makes this machine not only affordable, if it ever needs to be replaced, it is not as painful to purchase a new one!

****I will be buying a new laptop in January 2024 because my current laptop is not compatible with the Windows 11 upgrade, if I have any issues setting the printer up, and printing, I will update this review.

Very easy to set up ( being a total non techy person). I can't believe how worried I was about setting up and maintaining a printer. I looked up a random YouTube video about installing ink just to be sure but honestly so easy. I love being able to print stuff directly from my iPhone, using my wifi, among many other things. If you are looking for a simple, highly affordable printer( it also scans and photocopies btw!), this is it!!
