3. Requires an Internet connection and the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app, available for free on the App Store and at Google Play. Compatible with iPad, iPhone 3GS or later, and iPod touch 3rd generation or later devices running iOS 7.0 or later, and Android mobile devices running Android 2.3.3 or later. Your device must be connected to the same working network with wireless 802.11 b/g/n capability as your printer. For users of compatible Apple mobile devices, document printing requires Apple AirPrint, which requires an AirPrint-enabled printer connected to the same network as your iOS device. A printer connected to the USB port of your Mac, PC, AirPort Base station, or Time Capsule is not supported.

AirPrint functionality requires an iPad, iPhone 3GS or later, or iPod touch 3rd generation or later device running iOS 4.2 or later, and an AirPrint-enabled printer connected to the same network as your iOS device. A printer connected to the USB port of your Mac, PC, AirPort Base station, or Time Capsule is not supported.

5. Requires an Internet connection and Google account. Subject to Google Terms of Service. Certain exceptions may apply.

Requires Android mobile device with Android 4.4 operating system or later with the Mopria Print Service pre-loaded with that device and the compatible PIXMA/MAXIFY printer on the same wireless network. 7. Wireless printing requires a working network with wireless 802.11b/g or n capability. Wireless performance may vary based on terrain and distance between the printer and wireless network clients.

9. Scan to Concur requires a valid Concur account. Scanned files have a 10MB volume limit, with a 100 page maximum. Multiscan not available, receipts uploaded to Concur Cloud.

10. Optical resolution is a measure of maximum hardware sampling resolution, based on ISO 14473 standard.

11. The Public Switched Telephone Network currently supports fax modem speeds of 28.8 Kbps or lower, depending on telephone line conditions. Sending and receiving fax machines need to conform to ITU-T v.34 guidelines.

12. Black and white document fax transmission speed is based on default setting using ITU-T No.1 chart. Color document fax transmission speed is based on default setting using Canon Color Fax Test Sheet. I wish i can rate no star for this product…. I purchased it few month ago and since I opened and set up i did not even single print in true colours…. As you can see in attached picture . Even white page prints in pink n peach shadeEvery print was black tone . that my bad I did not check in returns time window…. I called cannon company and Amazon too …… cannon customer support service checked everything on call that seems ok I send you prints in the end they said but we don’t know the error .

Reliable. Easy to navigate software and hardware that does not glitch or drop ur connection. Top of the line quality prints. But I need an extra large parking spot. It all started when I heard the delivery truck with its backup sounds. Then the forklift truck. Although I am in my -55 and deadlift the 400+ on the regular, lifetime natty,I had to call my friends to help me move it and rearrange the furniture. After that I had to pay for 6 weeks of chiropractic care. Triggered just a bit.

If you have a wifi mesh with fast roaming enabled, the printer will not join the network. Disable fast roaming on your mesh first, then join the printer to your wifi. You can re-enable fast roaming after the printer has successfully joined the network.

This is absolute garbage. The yellow ran low while the other ink was still plentiful and it refused to print in black. I replaced the yellow cartridge and then it showed my good ink cartridges where empty as soon as the yellow was installed. I replaced the other ink cartridges so they are all new, and for a moment it showed all cartridges full but the printer froze. I restarted the printer and now it shows all cartridges as low but it is also locked in an error state and will not print. This was planned by the manufacturer in order to force me to buy new ink however the software based bullying broke my device even after I installed $100 worth of new ink. This happened with the original factory supplied ink installed and I have had the printer for less than a year.

I bought this printer for my business and based the purchase on price and reviews. What I didn't do is look into the specs of the scanning function (which in actuality, is the main reason I needed it).

It was incredibly difficult to set up, I'm highly competent when it comes to setting up technology but even with the manual, I was left scratching my head. I'm sure it's still not set up properly as I have to trigger a scan from my computer - not the device. Something I thought would have been very simple.

On top of that, the regular scanner is only big enough for standard documents, all legal sized documents have to be fed through the ADF and I still have not figured out how to scan both sides that way so I end up making two documents and merging the PDFs.

Long story short: if you can't set it up properly, it's a nightmare to use and probably worth the extra money to just get a proper printer for your business that can be easily set up.
