Great lens. Works both in auto focus and manual. The lens is heavier than expected so if you want steady shots when using the zoom, use is a tripod. Past that, it's a fantastic beginner lens. I gave 1 star on image stabilization cause it does not have that feature and 1 star for portrait photography... Cause really, you wouldn't use a 200mm for portraits.

The most important thing to know about the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens is that it is a budget-friendly telephoto zoom lens that is ideal for everyday use. It is lightweight and versatile, but image quality won't match higher-end lenses and autofocus can be slow. The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III is a telephoto zoom lens that is ideal for everyday use due to its compact size and lightweight design. It is particularly well-suited for beginners due to its affordable price tag.
Pros:
Affordable: This lens is a budget-friendly option for those looking to get started with telephoto photography.
Lightweight and compact: This lens is easy to carry around, making it ideal for travel or everyday shooting.
Versatile focal length: The 75-300mm focal length range allows you to capture a variety of subjects, from portraits to wildlife.
Decent image quality: While image quality won't match higher-end lenses, this lens can produce good quality images, especially when stopped down.
Cons:
Slow aperture: The f/4-5.6 maximum aperture means that this lens is not ideal for low-light photography. You will need to use a faster shutter speed or a higher ISO, which can introduce noise into your images.
Autofocus: The autofocus can be a bit slow at times, especially in low-light conditions.
Soft corners: Images can be soft, particularly in the corners, at the wider end of the zoom range.
Overall:
The Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III is a good value for the price. It is a versatile lens that is well-suited for beginner photographers who are looking for an affordable way to get started with telephoto photography. However, if you are looking for a lens for low-light photography or one that produces the highest possible image quality, you will need to look elsewhere.
Here are some additional things to consider before purchasing this lens:
Your budget: This lens is a good option if you are on a tight budget.
Your needs: If you are a beginner photographer who is looking for a versatile lens for everyday use, this lens is a good option. However, if you are a more advanced photographer or if you need a lens for low-light photography, you will need to look elsewhere.
The weight and size: This lens is small and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around. However, if you are looking for a more compact lens, there are other options available.

Es un gran producto a un gran precio (creo que en internet no encuentras uno mejor), además que llegó perfectamente embalado y unos cuantos días antes de la fecha estipulada. Original Canon + bien embalado + precio = excelente compra.

I bought this lens as I needed one between what I already had. It has been perfect for my needs. Came perfectly packaged so it wasn't damaged during shipping. Wasn't on autofocus when it arrived but figured it out fast. Great value for your money!

It will give you sharp images and stunning portraits if you've a Tripod or Good stable hands.
It will be harder to capture flying birds as there is no stabilizer in it.
