Best moisturizer I've ever used.
This is actually the first time I've ever written a review on Amazon and I've been shopping here for more than a decade. I'm 54 years old with combination skin and very enlarged pores. Because my skin has always been oily, I've always had trouble with breakouts (even now), shiny skin and huge pores. Every time I tried a moisturize (and I've tried many over the years) it always just made the shiny skin and breakouts worse. About 6 months ago I started to notice that my skin was flushing all the time - starting to lean toward rosacea, my wrinkles were heading from faint to etched and I was getting brown spots from sun damage. I saw the Maritime Naturals line and I thought I would (once again) give moisturizing a shot. Like MANY people have said on here, retinol is tough on your skin and takes a long time to make changes - they are very subtle. This photo shows the difference from before I used it to 6 weeks in. I had to only use it twice a week to start because, as anyone will tell you, retinol products can be irritating and drying to your skin initially until it adjusts. Mine took about 3 weeks to adjust - now I can slather it on every night without any issue. It has already made quite a difference for me: my lines are a bit less prominent (I have no illusion that I can erase them at my age, I'm just looking to keep them from getting worse). My skin is soft, silky and smooth and doesn't get shiny any more (yay!). My enlarged pores are less noticeable. I LOVE this stuff. It sinks into my skin entirely - doesn't leave it greasy which is a first! It has a lovely texture and you only need a little so the tub lasts quite a long time - I haven't had to replace it yet in 6 weeks! It has a subtle citrus smell that I really like. I also love that there's aloe and jojoba oil in it! I use the cream at night and the Vitamin C serum in the morning. I wash my skin twice a day with the Vitamin C cleanser. I could go on about the cleanser at length, too. It's gentle and doesn't dry my skin at all. I'll keep using these products as long as they keep making them. I've honestly never found anything that comes close before.

This moisturizer is by far the best moisturizer I've ever used... Pros: First off, it instantly makes my skin feel like silk, super hydrating, but absorbs and isn't greasy -- just luxurious. Second, the smell is *chef's kiss*... citrusy, but not overpowering, just delicious. Third, my skin is radiant... I wish I had a before and after picture to compare, but I'm in my mid-40s, and I thought radiant skin was long gone for me. Cons: Price is stretching my usual range of affordable/worth-it, but my stack of pros, along with my subscription discount, definitely makes it worth it.
Honest to God, putting this moisturizer on is the best part of my morning/night skin care routines! Can't recommend enough!

I have sensitive skin, and since having my second child, I’ve been having terrible reactions to other products. This cream doesn’t bother my skin at all, so I bought it again for a second time. It has a subtle smell, nothing too strong, though. I don’t have overly dry skin, but this cream does leave it feeling a little dry afterwards, so it’s not as moisturizing as I would like, therefore I deduct one star for that. Overall, I think it’s a good cream, my skin is soft and non-irritated, and I appreciate that.

I've got really frustrating combination skin and have never been able to find a moisturizer that effectively "treated" my issues. I have constantly dry, flaky skin around my nose and forehead that only the heavy/greasy creams would come close to moisturizing but only as long as I kept applying the lotion. Whereas after just the first time trying this stuff I noticed I didn't have to keep reapplying it! Not only did it actually moisturize and remedy the dry flaky skin but it healed any blemishes and made my skin look...."juicy"? And it's not even greasy, that's the shocking part!
I'm also very picky about how things smell and this moisturizer is actually quite pleasant. It's not strong and perfumey, it's just a nice subtle sent.
I've been using it for a few years now and I still can't get over how much I love it.
It's really great value too! Compared to all the similiar moisturizers out there you get over twice as much for a similar price with this stuff, and a little goes a long way.

Despite the rave reviews about this cream - I haven't noticed any difference with my skin. It smells great, feels nice and goes on well. However, it doesn't make my face feel particularly moisturized nor does has it made any difference to how my face looks or feels. I don't think my foundation goes on very well with this product underneath it. I'm disappointed - I won't be buying it again.
