Too much exercise to inflate so use air compressor
The double size sleeping mat is really large. It comes with the mat, an elastic to keep the mat rolled up, stickers, instructions, and the bag. This one really needs an air compressor or some method to put air into the sleeping mat. I didn't even do the manual way to fill in the air. It still took long with a handheld air compressor; it took around 3-4 minutes. If it was the manual way then it would be closer to 10-15 minutes or longer and be a workout. The built in pillow is not very defined. The mat is very low to the ground even though it is a decent thickness. The mat didn't deflate with the weight of 2 people overnight. It is a bit loud if you move around at night. The material is a bit slippery and can get a bit hot if your are sleeping directly on it without any sheets over it. Bringing the sheets to cover it is another thing you need to carry camping so if you can live with it for the nights then just leave it without sheets. The material seems very sturdy and like it would be easy to clean. You can wipe it clean or hose it down and let it dry.Even though it is a pretty large mat, it rolls up to be small which is good for storing and carrying around. Surprisingly it has a bit of weight to it while rolled up. The mat does take a bit of time to deflate. The two closures at the bottom allows for the mat to deflate quickly since the air can flow from 3 spots which is really needed to deflate such a large sleeping mat.

At the beginning I was about to return it not for the product itself but for the way it inflates (at first sight) but we decided to give it a try and completely worth it, very easy to inflate and overall quite confortable and it does not desinflate at all, I thought it was going to get down fast but it doesn't, it stayed hard and firm all the time (I used it for about 6 days). I highly recommend this product.

Seems to be comfortable. Tested it out immediately and it holds most of the air overnight, about 80%. So cant really complain. Foot pump works well enuf and takes aprox 3min to inflate.

Honestly I was mostly upset that it didn’t come with a bag or repair stickers. The actual mat itself seems okay. But it’s such a pain when the package is missing pieces. I would change the review if I received the value of my order

thick - easy to hand pump (about 5-10 minutes) with a good one way valve - and easy to deflate - roll up back into bag a breeze

takes some time to sort out proper inflation as it hardens up once all occupants on.

useful hack is to insulate top (and maybe bottom) of mattress with (fleece or wool) blankets to help with that slippery and cold issue others have described

This mattress kept me comfy all night. Typically I get numb & tingly hands at night with our old camping mat (side sleep with neck problems) but this one is thick and I slept great! Definitely a great deal. Packs up small, good for car camping. Would probably be willing to carry the weight on a backpack trip purely for the comfort.

Bought this to use instead of an inflatable one that needs a pump. The built in foot pump means we don’t need power to blow up. It’s inflates pretty quick and holds air much better then our previous mattresses. It is a bit stiff however that is what stops a grown adult from hitting the ground when on their side. I found it was comfy and the kids had the single ones which they were able to inflate themselves and everyone had a great sleep.

5.0 out of 5 stars Actually very surprised at how good this is

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
First, the rolled and stored bag came to me much larger than I expected. Bigger than a backpacking pillow, for example. But then I realized it has to hold a built-in foot pump, which is actually super convenient. So, it's a little larger for convenience purposes. But after inflating, laying on it, deflating, rolling, and storing again, I've found that the foot pump can actually be compressed much smaller than it came to me, and I've been able to pack it about half as small as it first came to me. A+

This pad inflates very easily through an integrated foot pump at the base of the pad. I've not seen this before in a sleeping pad and it actually worked really well! At first, I thought it was doing nothing, but after 10 stomps, I could tell it was starting to inflate. 50 stomps later, the pad was fully inflated. This pump action is also really nice because I can stand outside the mouth of my hot tent and step on the foot pump just inside the tent to inflate it. No more sweaty setup! No extra pump needed, no floppy air bag pump to lose. This saves the hyperventilation that other pads seem to require. Plus, my moist, dehydrated camp-food breath doesn't have to be forced into the innards of the pad. Nice!

Once inflated, the pad has a double valve at the pillowed head (yes, pillowed! More on that in a second). The outer valve can be used to make micro-adjustments to the pressure of the pad. I suggest inflating it to the max, laying on it, finding the outer valve with your hand, and pressing the middle to let air leak slowly. You'll feel it adjust to your body weight and shape. When it feels good, close that outer valve up again. My only complaint here is that you have to push this valve REALLY HARD to get the air to leak. I'd love it if this valve were meant to be pressed lightly by a finger to let air out slowly.

I've found that the pad is comfortable enough to sleep on my back or side. The thickness and volume of the pad provide a lot of adjustment space. However, adjusting body position throughout the night does add some noise. The baffles through the middle of the pad crinkle fairly loudly, which might wake your tent mates. The noise is more subdued than other pads with baffles I've slept on and doesn't sound like tin foil or anything, but it's still very noticeable in the silence of the night. Keep that in mind.

Luckily, the pad has snaps along its outer edges, presumably to connect other pads and keep the tent floor organized all night when body positions shift.

I can't imagine this pad would be good in winter. Not enough insulation against the cold. But it should be good to go for the other three seasons of the year.

Okay, the pillowed end (extra thickness) is really nice. Again, this is a first in a sleeping pad for me. I find that camp pillows are usually very small, meant to pack small and weigh very little for backpacking. Because they're so small, they don't have much loft, and my neck suffers a little through the night. With this pad, the extra volume at the head means my camp pillow finally has enough loft to keep my neck aligned better. Very cool and surprisingly nice!

I was very happy with how easily this pad deflated. The inner valve at the head opens wide and air easily escapes. I wish the foot pump would pull out any of the extra air I couldn't roll out, but as I said above, I was still able to pack this pad down to half the size that it came to me in. The storage bag and strap is actually way too big for that smaller packed size, so that's a bit of a bummer. I really like tightly stored gear. Makes filling my backpack much easier.

Last two thoughts: The product comes with several (6 maybe?) patches, so bring those with you into the wild in case. The material seems durable enough, but you never know. And one of the biggest issues when rolling and packing the pad is static. Wow. It attracts everything in the tent: dirt, crumbs, pine needles, hairs, ew. I'm not sure what to do about that.

But overall, this was a surprisingly great pad for camping and backpacking! If you don't want to spend $$$ on the big names, give this one a try. You'll probably love it, especially the money you saved!
