I thought about getting a cage for my X4 for added protection but since I don’t do vlogs and don’t need to attach things, I just ended up getting these silicone case. One side of this case is slightly loose though, the screen side. And the lens cap that comes with this is pretty useless to me. But luckily, the official Insta360 X4 silicone lens cap works while this case is on and while the lens guards are attached too. However, the whole set up does not fit in the little pouch the X4 comes with. I just reused a sunglasses pouch to store my X4.

This case is made out of rubber and helps give me more piece of mind when traveling with my X4 and not in use. The body protection fits well and has perfect cutouts for the battery, screen and other ports. The fit is perfect and I love that the buttons are easily identifiable on the rubber case.
The quality is good and I feel comfortable using it to protect my X4. The lens guard is a must especially when traveling. My only drawback is the lens guard protection doesn’t fit completely when you have the lens protectors on. With the body protection on, lens guards and protector it covers 97% and I’m still very confident if I accidentally drop my X4 this case will protect it.
Great product for a good price that could save you repair cost later down the line.

This insta360 X4 silicone case and lens cap fits well and is a good protective cover for my camera. Very easy to slip on and all the ports and holes are still accessible but still protects the majority of the surfaces on the overall case.

I really like the peace of mind that this silicone cover gives. I like to take care of my cameras, even though the camera itself already has a well made case, I jut like to keep things as new as possible. And this slip on case is thin enough that it doesn't take away from the overall size of it.

The lens cover is another story. Although it's very thick and robust and will definitely protect the lenses from any damage, it does give it a very bulky addition to the size of the camera. I have a case for it but it won't fit if I have the lens cover on.

So on days I do some multiple quick shoot and go I use the lens cover and works well to slip it on and off very conveniently. But during transport and storage I take it off and keep the camera in the zip up case. Overall I'm very happy with the quality of both silicone case and lens cover!
