If you have CFW on your Switch you need to have it fully updated. Same with the Switch firmware or this won't work. Lots of trial and error to figure this out as there's not much about that online. I do love it though.

It just won't respond. the Switch no longer recognizes the Nitro Deck. I tried updating the firmware and still got nowhere. It lights up like it's ready for use, but will not work.
Also, the right thumb stick is really oddly placed for adult hands. My kiddo doesn't seem to mind, but bigger hands will find it awkward.

The CRKD Nitro Deck is in my opinion the best grip/holder for the SWITCH (all SWITCH versions except the Lite).

It is extremely well built and feels really good in hand. Its ergonomics are very good and fits my average sized hands perfectly.

Its features include Hall Effect joysticks, rumble on each side which is adjustable, gyro support, 4 back paddles that can be mapped to any face buttons, turbo mode, macro mode.

The console slides in with a satisfying click into place. When in place, you can turn the Deck upside down and the console is going nowhere. A release button on the back when pushed up, allows you to pull the console out.

The caps on the joysticks are interchangeable, and CRKD sells combinations on their website. One other thing, if you install the CRKD app on your phone, there is an NFC square on the back which when scanned via the app, tells you what number your Deck is and the rarity.

I have no quarms about recommending this to anyone with a SWITCH. Oh it also has a brilliant stand on the back which is very sturdy.

Was larger and heavier than I expected but after some adjustment, I was surprised by how comfortable and sturdy it felt to use. All the buttons are nice and the joystick precision is great. The kickstand is mediocre since it's rather short but that's a nitpick.
