The M12 is my third pair of ear buds from this vendor (after previously purchasing older models). I have tried earbuds from other vendors in the past and these are definitely the best. I teach online so am constantly in front of my computer. I'm happy to say the M12 has resolved my needs for comfort, long battery life, and quality incoming and outgoing sound. I have also used the M12 for music and watching movies via my smart TV. Great performance there as well.
Comfort and fit : The earbuds are essentially weightless. The selection of ear pads gave me the opportunity to size them correctly. Given the flexibility, fit and weight, I give this 5 stars.
Battery life : As advertised, the battery really does last a long time. I usually charge the buds every three days. When they are in my ears, they stay there for at least 3-4 hours at a time. The LED display on the outside of the charger case tells me how much power remains so I never get caught short whether for an online class or a night in front of the TV. 5 stars.
Pairing : These are the easiest buds to pair that I have ever bought. I use them with a variety of devices (Google TV, laptop, desktop computer, Android phone and tablet) and they connect with no problem whatsoever. Just make sure competing devices are not in pairing mode.
Sound quality : The incoming sound quality is excellent. I generally place the buds loosely in my ears since my primary application is online meetings. Incoming voices are crystal clear. For TV and music, I plant them deeper to bring out the bass. As for the microphone, I was dubious that earbuds would provide the quality necessary to teach classes, but I quickly found out that there was no discernible difference between the M12 microphone quality and the full headset I used previously. Needless to say, I was very pleased. 5 stars!
Controls : Once you've practiced with the controls (tapping, holding, or gliding a finger along the earbud stem), you will love the simplicity. Since the older model earbuds have similar controls, I was already used to the system. No complaints here. 5 stars.
Overall, for the money, these buds are a no-brainer! Excellent value all around.
