Watch the video for tips!!!! Great customer service
Finally worked wonderfully and some tips for you!!!We had bought one from another company for our son previously and it had some cracks so we didnt have high hopes and was prepared to use crayola modeling clay as backup (crayola clay very tough to knead though, not as soft as bubzi clay, and dries shrivelled up so not as nice fit in frame). So unfortunately when bubzi clay also cracked upon drying, we immediately used the crayola clay but since it wasnt as soft, we only got really shallow prints. So we decided we would buy some replacement bubzi clay since we really wanted to get it right and try it one more time for our daughter’s print and felt we were so close and almost got the technique down. I emailed bubzi to ask for special tips or techniques in case we missed something important or maybe it was a regular expected occurrence but instead their customer service replied within hours and said they would send replacement pack for free. I was flabbergasted by the quick response and offer of free pack since i was gona buy anyways. She told me to watch the demo video and knead for at least 3-5 minutes to prevent cracks. This time it turned out beautifully! So 3 tips for everyone since we’ve done it so many times now!:1) watch video closely, make sure heed what she says about pushing clay into all corners, and once its in the frame, just smooth it out, dont try to re roll and knead again and again to try to be perfectionist because the fold lines will dry to become cracks! Its ok for it to be perfectly imperfect like video says! Just smooth as much as you can. And yes when you flatten and smooth it out, dont use too much pressure or it can lead to cracks, be gentle.2) knead for “at least” 5 minutes to get clay nice and malleable and soft3) we did it for our older infant who could sit in highchair, it was waaaay easier to press her hand and foot in while she was sitting and distracted with a toy instead of holding her squirming and pulling away in our arms in awkward hold position

This is a wonderful alternative to ink prints where you can keep a lovely memory of your baby when they are tiny. It does take a bit of pressure on your baby’s hands and feet to make it somewhat visible but don’t let that get to you. It did for me the first time and I redid the clay only for it to be harder and A bit crumbly which led to small cracks. I was upset but customer service was kind and quick with a response for a replacement. The second attempt shows the prints lightly but it still turned out beautifully. Treasure these moments

Bubzi Co Baby Footprint Kit is a total winner with its adorable hand and footprints mold. It's such a sweet way to capture those precious moments with your little one. The included picture frame adds a nice touch, making it a perfect gift for new moms or baby showers. Just wish the instructions were a bit clearer, but otherwise, it's a solid choice!

I love the company that has created this item. This item is just as good quality as other items they sell, and it is safe and easy to use. The clay is easy to use and non-toxic, and it molds into the spot perfectly. I recommend making sure to give the clay area a little extra space for when the hand/foot prints are squished into it as the clay will move (and it may go up past the line and dry higher than it should be for the glass to fit on it properly, if at all). It turns out beautifully and makes such a wonderful keepsake for your baby’s prints, or as a shower gift for a friend or family’s baby. I would recommend this.

This is the second photo & handprint set have purchased from this company. The first one I gave away for a baby shower I received such wonderful reviews. I decided to give the second one I would highly recommend this company they definitely stand by their product. They went way above and even sent correct information on how to do the clay handprints. Thank you.

The product came sealed in the clay packaging, which was wet and moist on the inside, almost too wet. I thought if I kneaded for 5-10 minutes like the directions and video guide said, it would smooth itself out. But no matter how much I kneaded, the clay kept cracking and could never get smooth. Will update if it cracks like the other reviews.

My girlfriend and her hubby were so thrilled to receive this gift. Placing imprints of their wee ones hand and foot makes this a "one of a kind" gift to treasure.

Update: the customer service from Bubzi is amazing and they made good on the situation.

First, there is some kind of grease/oil on the clay, probably to keep it from drying out, but it was EVERYWHERE! Leaked into and through the box and it’s quite smelly. The clay was difficult to work with, cracking and crumbling as you work with it, and it’s quite stiff. There are tons of instructions, it even tells you to watch the video first, and it says to ‘gently’ push baby’s hand/foot into it, but it’s so hard that you really have no choice but to put more pressure to make an imprint, and as it starts to dry, it’s almost as if the imprint starts to rise/disappear unless it’s really deep. It’s a great concept, but the execution needs a lot of work. They should be using a much softer clay/dough, even one that needs to be baked would be better then this. I might need to paint the imprint just for it to stand out

5.0 out of 5 stars A cute mementos to try!

This was worth the purchase! Keeping my little ones prints intact while their still little was a great idea. The instructions and there tutorial videos was a big help to mix everything. It was easy to mix, clay didn't Crack and frame was sturdy. It's a plastic frame vs a glass one which I love incase it fell it was just plastic. You really have to push down hard to get a decent imprint. You have to work fast in my opinion because it does start to get hard. It says if you don't like the imprint you can redo it. I was able to retry x3 before it started getting hard. It took 48 hours to dry fully. You can take the imprint out of the frame and I noticed it was wet inside. I took it out to let everything fully dry before closing everything together just to prevent mold. If you follow the instructions it's a cute keepsake for anything.
