I got this for my daughter who is on her way (mostly as decoration for now.) Follow the note in the description that says you need to retune it repeatedly. It does not hold its tuning until you do that about 100 times but it does eventually and from there it's great! I've been playing it to learn lullabies for her and it sounds great.

Excellent value. Good quality for a kids' starter instrument. So cute and just the right size for those little hands. My only criticism would be that there are no studs for attaching a strap. As with all new ukuleles, you need to play and tune it often (daily) for the first couple weeks to stretch the strings.
