Just received today. Easy to put together. It only took a few minutes. It’s neat that it’s telescopic in so many ways and easy to disassemble after and put away in the included bag. In the pic i attached i wanted to show it works perfectly with my new ipad holder. I can use it for either karaoke, or adjust lower and use while I’m playing the keyboard and singing at the same time. So far so good. Extra clips for different type of mic is nice so that it fits what you need. I’m short, my husband is tall. It’s adjustable to fit both of us without effort.

It was a good price, and it is fully functional. I did not notice that the height of the stand is achieved by threading two or three sections together. OK - no big deal, but I wouldn't want to tear that down and set up for regular gigging. I will leave this in my home jam space, and it will be fine.
The boom extension is narrow diameter, so it uses a thread adapter to accept the microphone holder. This is also a point of weakness that you might want to avoid.

Easy, out of the box set up. Works great for mobile use. I bought two for a portable studio set up and podcast interviews. Quality is fine - you don't expect excellence at this price point, but the stand is very functional and does the job well without issue so far. The travel bag failed IMMEDIATELY as the most crucial function point - the zipper. The zipper is super cheap and popped apart on both bags on the very first use. Thankfully, I had a higher quality bag close by that holds both stands and a bunch of extra equipment. If you're looking for starter stands, these are just fine. But be sure that you have another way of packing them up and moving them around.

Pros:
- I can only say good things about this mic-stand. This is my second one and I use it for household musical sessions.
- The quality of material is very well. I don’t expect to use the stand in a category 5 cyclone; hence it does not need to be the strongest thing in the world! I am on the side of things that can do the job without taking a lot of Earth’s resources. The stand also feels very premium when handling.
- There are plenty of accessories to go around various microphone types. My first one lacked the ability to connect to any mic without threads. I used to tape my mic’s to it. This one, comes with a crocodile-clip and a standard collar, both of which can hold all of my microphones - that is what sounds more like universal.
- The base tripod is super sturdy, the weight and momentum balance with boom-arm tilted works under most scenarios. Great job!
- The entire package comes in a bag, can you ask for more?!

Recommend?
- No wonder, it is 110% recommended for anybody.

The Mike stand is a sturdy item, easy to assemble/disassemble. It would have been better if it had a broader base. Found it tippy when I added an iPad holder to the stand. Resolved this by adding a counterweight to one of the legs. Only reason to give a 4 star rating.
