Binders are great at storing documents like accounting records, class worksheets, and manuals. They protect documents inside while providing a place to store a lot of pages.
It can be valuable to create sections in a binder that help to refer to specific material. This will eliminate having to search through the entire binder.
Index dividers are often paired with binders to organize information. Divider colors and index tabs help to identify sections. C-Line has 3 styles of poly dividers.
- C-Line’s first two styles of polypropylene dividers have 5 tabs and come with or without pockets. They include self-adhesive, blank tab labels, that can be labeled to fit individual binding systems
- Dividers come in a jewel tone assortment so sections can also be recognized by color. Those with the slant pockets provide additional storage space with pockets located on each side of the divider
- Looking to maximize storage space inside the binder and create a section header for each portion of the binder? If so, C-Line’s third style, Sheet Protectors with Index Tabs, is a good fit
- Available in five or eight tab sets, the tabs are attached to the right outer edge of the sheet protector and come clear or in assorted colors

Index Dividers with TabsAvailable in a set of five jewel tone colors, these Index Dividers make it possible to visually see sections within the binder by color. Documents can also be located by using the tab labels to help identify where information is being stored. Self-adhesive, write-on labels are included with the dividers, making it possible to customize and create your own tab labels. Index Dividers with Slant PocketsThese 5-Tab Index Dividers have an additional feature that provides extra storage options within the binder. The slant pocket is included on the front and back of the dividers to store additional information without requiring hole punching and insertion into the binder. This is helpful if pages need to be added after the binder is assembled or if they need to be added or removed quickly without opening the binder rings. Each pocket holds letter-size documents. Sheet Protectors with Index TabsC-Line’s Sheet Protectors with Index Tabs are a perfect way to organize a binder with section headings. Considered a sheet protector and index tab in one, this item lets you store letter-size document titles at the beginning of each section while the index tab on the right side of the holder helps you quickly turn to the beginning of the section.
