I've been using these android boxes since 2016, I've owned many, bought and set up so many of these i can't even count. Most of these boxes are capable and perform adequately, but they all lack any true quality because all of these android boxes use similar software setups and a customized but quite useless home screen that you can't often customize so you are stuck with huge icons of aps on the homepage that you don't use. I bought this box out of curiosity, i owned their very first version of this box back in 2018 and it was good, but the interface was lacking. jump ahead 5 years and they have clearly been working hard on the design and setup, i love the home page, its easy to use, and customize. and looks really good once you find a nice wallpaper for it. The performance of this box is what really surprised me. its very fast, the audio quality is fantastic, very rich. Image quality is also fantastic. I love the fact that this box allows you to adjust almost every aspect of image quality, which is a feature i have never seen in any android tv box. I have been using this box for over a week now and i have to say i'm really impressed, image quality, audio quality. ease of use and well supported, there were a few box updates available when i started it up, which is a good sign that the box is well supported. My only complaint is the remote, it is better than any of the android tv boxes i've had, but like all of them, they lack the air mouse feature and a keyboard. you can find 3rd party remotes that are really excellent and easy to connect to these boxes, which is what i'm using, the buzz tv remote is good, but i find the buttons too small.
in regards to the build quality, it's top level, full metal casing, which looks great and also will help keep the device nice and cool. this is a great box, well made, and designed well too, i would definitely recommend it.
