We have used other Burt’s bees products and they are very effective at what they do. This Baby Bee nourishing lotion does a nice job of keeping the skin moisturized even after a wash. It only takes one application to get dry skin back to its normal levels. I like that most of the ingredients are natural in this moisturizer. It does not have petroleum products which we avoid in our family. This product may not be suitable for all babies as it contains buttermilk (dairy product). The lotion is slightly thick and a little bit will go a long way. I know most of the ingredients in this moisturizer has a natural scent but this has a lingering scent which was a little strong for my liking.

We bought this cream for so many times and it is the only baby cream we use at home. It's gentle for the baby skin. However, it doesn't work too well then there is bad rash. In this kind of situation, need to apply the cream more often. A little bit pricy though.

I really liked it because it didn’t “burn” my baby’s skin. During the spring he had these hot spots, sensitive skin areas on his belly and we were using Cetaphil daily for sensitive skin and the shea butter versions but he would always cry and whine. Switched to Burt’s Bees with Lavender (cheaper than the original) and no crying or whining. There seems to be something in the Cetaphil lotion. The Cetaphil is also “watery” in texture of lotion, Burt’s Bees feels thicker and less runny.
