This probably one of my most favourite brushes to date. I honestly didn’t expect anything but it exceeded my expectations. The bigger brush is soft and gives a nice slick stroke leaving the hair defined, deranged and in places. The smaller brush I was expecting to be hard and painful on the edges of my hair, total opposite. It is even softer. The bristles detangle the hair especially after I’ve added gel or edge control. It smoothes it out while leaving a nice definition of the brushed sides. Totally worth it. Excellent brush,

I’m in my mid thirties, have thick long hair, and have never owned this type of bristle brush…I know, wild! I’m a convert, and don’t know how I lived without them for so long. I use these super frequently. They’re great for adding volume, smoothing out frizz and creating a slick style that stays put. I also use this on my six year old son who also has extremely thick hair, so this is has been great to style his hair with. Quality is great, brushes are sturdy and I’m extremely happy with this purchase - don’t hesitate!

Like the brush and how smooth it lays my curls down with some eco gel. However, the smaller one I use for my edges and find the bristles not long enough and I am not a fan of the plastic hard bristles because it irritates my scalp. Overall worth the buy though

These are by far the nicest brushes I have ever used. The thinner brush detanges without breaking the hair. There are 3 layers of bristles to do the job efficiently. The wider brush has a massaging effect on the scalp. It has one level of short boar bristles. Using both brushes simultaneously (the thin one to part the hair & the wide one to massage) made my scalp feel great and left my hair feeling soft....so soothing!

I really like the handle on the larger brush, it is more comfortable in my hand. The bristles are short and strong without being too stiff. The body of the brushes look like wood, but I think they are molded plastic, not sure. I like the smaller brushes bristles but not the handle, it is not comfortable to hold for more than a minute or two.

 This a nice boar bristle brush combo. The thinner brush has combination bristles and is very effective on my husband's thick beard, while the wider brush has only boar bristles - good for general hair brushing and even better for slicking back hair. My husband would have preferred combination bristles on both brushes (better massaging effect and better bristle penetration to scalp) but really enjoys the product either way. Brush handles are of beautifully finished wood. The thinner brush has a pointy ended handle which seems to be intended for parting hair but does not appear pointy enough to effectively part. Solid four stars overall!
