This is a decent wall mount for the price.
It covers up to VESA 200x200 mm. (8”x 8”) without bolting on extra fingers or plates.
Maximum TV size is s moving target.
Vesa 200x200 used to only be good for a 32" TV, but they get lighter and lighter every year. If the TV has this mounting pattern, and it's within the weight, you're good to go.
Here, suddenly I have a problem. The product page says clearly in the title "110 lbs ".
The box clearly says rated up to 70 lbs. This is printed on the box seven times! Every surface.
This is not even remotely the same.
I believe the box. The manufacturer of the mount printed it on there.
Luckily, you would have a hard time finding a new TV 55" or under that weighs more than 35 lbs, so there’s that. But if you mounted an 80lb TV on this thinking you’re within the spec, you might have a big problem.
This mount will allow your TV to go almost flush to the wall, or swing out, and pivot left to right, and also a small adjustment to tilt down.
When flush there will be an offset to the 2x4 your mounted it to.
It comes with a selection of screws to attach to your TV, and a single set of spacers.
I'd really like to rate this 3.5, because although this is a good mount, 70lbs is so very different to 110lbs.
But there is no 3.5, and it doesn't deserve a 3 either. So, 4 it is, with this notice.
