I had an older vehicle that didn't have bluetooth as an option connect a phone for playing music through. This little device has solved that problem at a very reasonable price. It basically just plugs into your dc plug in your car and then wirelessly connects to both your car and your phone. The connection happens quickly and seems to stay connected without losing the signal. The sound quality is good and it even comes with a remote. It does have some additional features that I didn't really need but for my needs, this little device has made an older car a little bit easier to live with for a little bit longer.

I drive old cars that I can still work on without an engineering decree, so no bluetooth - but I like music from my phone. This device is very simple to use. The screen has more information that the more basic units I've owned in the past. The title says 'Car Kit' and that is what shows up on my phone. I connected immediately and I found an unoccupied FM station to stream. The unit has an FM button that brings up the FM stations. There is a small graphic equalizer display jumping on the bottom of the screen, but I don't think it actually is related to the music - probably just a nice little show.
It also shows battery charge which is typical, but still a nice feature.

In my truck I have one of the large screen that displays maps and music apps which is nice, but this is simple and stays out of the way. The photo shows it connected to the backseat area to keep the dash available for chargers. Also, the bigger screen units can drain the battery - which I learned the hard way. If you want a simple FM transmitter for your bluetooth device then this is good.

I tried to set this up in my dad's truck and there was no radio signal no music nothing worked. I also was shocked at how fast even trying to set this up drained the car battery. In the 5 minutes I spent trying to set this up it killed the battery and I had to jump the truck. I would avoid this item and look for other options.

I got this FM transmitter to be able to play any arbitrary audio source on my car stereo since even though it has android auto and car play, it does not have an aux in port. The big draws for me was:
• Aux in jack, in case I wanted to plug in an old device like mp3 player, Walkman, etc.
• Battery voltage readout, as I don't have an easy way to check voltage on my car currently.
• Some physical buttons in case I just want it to do something really quick.
As I usually use android auto, I don't have much use for the Bluetooth function, but it connected without fuss and readily reconnected once it powered on again.
Music sounds good and in stereo as I'd expect for FM. Without playing with it too much audio almost seems a little bright right out of the box; it might be biasing the sound to make up for some FM radios.
Aux in works, but is finicky; half of the time it would recognize the audio cable was plugged in and the other half it would not. Unplugging and plugging it back in rectifies it though that's annoying. The microSD card slot seems to work just fine.
I haven't checked music playback on the one USB port but charging on the other one seems to work as well as expected.
My main peeve is the battery voltage indicator: it is not in the upper left corner as in all of the photos, but only shows up as a splash screen when it turns on. Before you crank your car I suppose this is the most important time to know what the voltage is, but you'd have to train yourself to look down at it for the second or so that it's displayed.
Biggest unexpected bonus: the display is not gaudy, not too bright, and appears to have a spectrum analyzer, which is usually a fake graphic on this type of device. Well, this is actually a real spectrum analyzer! The video shows it going through a spectrum sweep and sure enough it matches. So that's really cool.
All in all, this is a really solid unit that, especially for an old car radio or a new one that has no legacy features, packs a lot of nice features for the price. I'd recommend it.

This works very well compared to the ones I have had in the past. The screen is just under 2 inches and is super easy to read quickly. The remote also works from the backseat so passengers can easily hook up their phones to play music as well. It was really easy to pair this with my phone and I highly recommend this.
