Wrong plugin adapters came with lamps
Two lamps were ordered on Amazon.ca from a Canadian customer and they both came with a European plugin. How are we suppose to use this? Its very frustrating that there is no one you can talk to in order to fix this issue. The only option you have is to return the lamps or try to find adapters which is an added cost.Revised Review: After reading my review, the seller contacted us and explained that it was a packaging error and sent replacement plugin adapters. The lamps now works and looks great.

Speechless and dissapointed .I have read the comments before buying this lamps. And decided to order it . When i received it ....i was very happy with the look and size .it seemed like a nice quality but to my big surprise when i wanted to use it i discovered that i could not plug it because it was not made for canadas electric outlet but for europe. Seriously im even mad.

I must have a newer model as some of the earlier reviews suggested that you couldn't wake up to the countdown sounds. I just woke to the sound of a babbling brook with a gentle light.
At first it seems a little complex but it isn't. It's settings and functions are pretty straight forward and you get a large instruction sheet to guide you through your first time. You can choose to have up to two alarm calls, one with a light, one without or you can disable both and have neither.
It's simple modernist design looks pleasing to the eye. The wood finish is beautifully simplistic and the overall construction is solid and well put together.
The USB port is a useful item for me as I like to wake up to a charged phone and get into bed with a charged kindle.
The touch lamp settings are sensitive all around the light halos exterior making achieving instant light in the dark easy. No fumbling around to find a switch.
The clock itself has three different brightness settings. Four if you include completely off altogether (which is nice for me because some nights I just don't want to know what the time is).
The breathing light is a querky feature that dims and gets brighter in a pulse like fashion just bellow the clock. Not sure that's something I'll use, it could be a meditation aid perhaps. Who knows, but it is by no means displeasing.
The sounds are looped as you'd expect but the quality is clear and the alarms certainly wake you. It's always a danger for me to have such a big snooze button, but I'm not going to lie, I do like it and wouldn't change it.
Their is very little about this little bedside companion I would alter, in fact I really can't think of one thing.
To sum up,
Will it wake you? Yes
Will it light up your half of the bed? Yes
Can you read by its light? Yes
Will it charge your USB chargeable tech? Yes.
Does it look pleasing? Yes
Does it sound nice? Yes
I just hope it lasts, because I'm not sure changing the tiny LED bulbs will be an easy option.
It just remains for me to say thank you Blonbar, for me the Natural Sound Bedside Lamp AJ300 is a massive hit.
