This blackout sheet measures roughly 39” x 56” (I ordered the 39”x57” size) and is made from a tarp-like material that does an excellent job blocking light but doesn’t look particularly good.Included are a measuring tape, fabric bag, and plenty of Velcro pieces to install. The Velcro keeps the blind in place, but the adhesive seems weaker than the Velcro, so there is tendency to pull off the Velcro rather than separating it when rolling the blind out of the way when you want to let light in.I’ve done a rough/temporary installation of this behind existing blinds (only required for a few months while baby in bassinet) so I didn’t cut it down to size.Overall, this blocks light effectively as advertised, but isn’t easy to open/close and doesn’t look great.

It's pretty close to summertime at this point and it's always nice to have a solution to keep the Sun out of your home to help keep things just a little bit cooler. These blackout curtains block the sun very well.

They cut out to size very easily if you have the proper tools, I actually have a cutting tool that slides straight through materials like this and it does a bang up job. If you have a good set of scissors, you should be able to cut this just fine as well.

The sticky Velcro seems to be holding to the wall well so far and while a tiny bit of light will leak around the outer edges if you don't get things perfectly flush to the wall, it's very minimal and overall it helps a lot as no light comes through these blackout curtains.

They may not be the most stylish thing out there, but if you're using something like this, then style isn't what you are looking for. You are looking for something to effectively block the Sun and these do a great job of that.

I have one big picture window that needed blocked, as well as four smaller Windows throughout the home, and this was able to block them all with lots of material left over. I did go overboard on the velcro though so I ran out before I should have. I just wanted to make sure it was flushed to the wall as best I could so I used more than I needed to. If there's one critique to this, it is that there's not enough velcro strips if you want the curtain to be held taught to the wall. If you have a lot of Windows to do, you have to use the velcro strips fairly sparingly.

Overall though, I recommend these as they work well and block out the Sun. I could see these being useful if you need to sleep during the day and work a graveyard shift so to speak. You'll actually get to sleep in darkness.

If you work a rotation on nightshift you know how hard it is to sleep during the day and how bright a room can be even with the curtains closed. I thought this might be a great alternative to expensive blackout fabric curtains but sadly I'm gonna say this is a pass for me, and it should be for you too. From the cheap tarp like material this is made of to the way it needs to be installed it just all feels wrong. I honestly think I could get something better from the dollarstore for less than $25. That may seem harsh but really I was expecting something I could take with me places (you can not) and the adhesive is very destructive so this is not renter friendly. The ad states "Our blackout blinds are made of thick, sturdy, and soft fabric materials that completely block out all light and UV rays from the window,providing complete darkness for an optimal sleeping environment" not true at all this material is not soft it literally feels like a cheap tarp you would use to patch up one of those tent shed or maybe one of those like plastic table clothes for picnics I'm massively disappointed in this product. It also is crazy wrinkled no matter what we do it just has the lines it looks awful. The only good thing about this is it DOES block out the light but honestly it feels like I taped a trashbag to the window. I hope this helps anyone that has questions! Happy amazon-ing!

I received this product through the Amazon Vine program.

These Blackout Curtains by EUHAMS are exactly what I needed. I have some west-facing windows that get a lot of sun. The longer days mean that the room is lit until quite late and this affects my evening TV viewing. This product is made from a polyester fabric that seems to be quite heavy and almost slippery to the feel. You get a fabric measuring tape in the package as well as a storage bag made of the same material. They also provide more then a sufficient amount self-adhesive velcro strips to install the curtain. I think there are enough strips to make at least 2 curtains. I am very pleased that the product blocks 100% of the light, just as they have claimed. The cut edges seem to hold together very well without fraying. I will update this review in the future to report how they are standing up. My plan is to get some more of this material to make blackout curtains for my vehicle. One thing I would like to see is the same product with one side in a lighter colour to reduce the heating effect.

Overall, this seems to be a good quality product and worthy of a 5 star rating.

This is a good sized panel that will work for most bedroom windows. It is a completely opaque, thin, some what stiff vinyl fabric (think of a thin shower curtain liner). Because this liner has a bit of stiffness to it, it does a could job of "pressing" into the sides of the window frame and blocking out the light around the edges if you cut it a couple inches larger for both the height and width dimension.

I used this black out two 36" x 24" windows. The hook and loop has held well for approximately 2 weeks now. I cut the hook and loop strips in half both length wise and width wise as I didn't want that big of strips on the window when I take these down. I also wish that the hook and loop strips were white as all my casings are white. That would help these to blend in and not be quite so noticable.

I appreciate the soft ruler for measuring the window dimensions, but this does not come with a means to cut the fabric unfortunately. Scissors are not the best way to do this either. If you have help, use one of the safety razor cutters (a sort of "u-shaped" plastic device with a razor at the back of the "U" on an angle). You just mark your dimensions, fold the fabric and with one person holding each end, run the cutter down the fold. Only takes couple seconds to cut this way.

This item was sent to me to provide my honest opinion. The blackout curtains attach to windows using Velcro, making installation quick and easy.
