Lock works fine. Mounting bracket broke under normal conditions in less than 1 year of use. Plastic broke in half, like poor quality or defective.I requested a replacement under their 3 year warranty.**Update: They sent the replacement asap. I received the new lock in 2 days! Good job. I will now reinstall and see if this one holds up. Fantastic, quick customer service.Update 2 : I installed the replacement mounting bracket and it broke too. This is the 2nd one they sent to replcace 1st one that broke in same place. Very poor quality and design.

Nothing spectacular, just a typical U-lock. It comes with pieces to allow it to be mounted to the bike; I just never bothered to set it up out of laziness, and I simply hang the U-lock on my handlebars. However, as a result of banging around my handlebars, some of the plastic outer layer has cracked and fallen off after about 1 year and a half of everyday use. There is still an entire metal portion however, so it is less aesthetically pleasing but still secure despite losing the outer layer.

I have not really used the flexible portion at all, again just due to laziness of not wanting to bring it around with me, so I cannot comment on how well that holds up. It does seem like a nice feature though that would keep the back wheel safe for sure.

Also a note - one day after using this U-lock for 2 years, I could not figure out why I could not get my key into the lock anymore. Suddenly the hole was too small. I figured at first that it was just some dirt or snow stuck in it, or that it was jammed and needed some lubricating, but neither of those were correct. I finally noticed that the silver portion of the U-lock (where you insert the key) is able to be turned so that the hole for the key can be covered (presumably to prevent it from getting clogged by mud and such). It was also clearly noted on the U-lock itself and I just missed it all these years. SO don't be silly like me and think that the lock is unusable for weeks... just turn that silver part until you can put your key in the hole again.

Not a fan of the mounting style once I tried to mount it. It now just gets strapped to the rear rack cause it doesn't really fit on my bike where it was designed to, and takes up the water bottle space
