Curling and smoothing thermal brush.
I prefer using thermal brushes over blow dry brushes for a smoother, no frizz curl. It’s easy to use because it grips the hair with its bristles, therefore making it easy to control and style.This thermal brush has a 1 1/2” ceramic coated barrel which makes a larger curl. There are 9 different temperatures. Included is a drawstring pouch, 2 jaw clips, heatproof gloves and user manual.It heats up quickly, has a 360 degree swivel cord and a LED display that shows the temperature. It’s so easy to use. It makes a great curl and really smoothes out the frizzy hair. See before and after photo. The price is very reasonable for the quality and many features. Highly recommended.

I think I like this brush. It’s a great option for styling your hair, especially if you don’t like fly aways. With very little practice I was able to get a really smooth look, with no frizziness. It looked great, and took about the same amount of time as a straightener. What was better was the warm up time, and I was able to perfect my hair in the morning when a straightener usually would take too long to warm up.

Here’s what I like about this brush:
-It heats up quickly (I used this before work, and I was able to do quick touch ups really quickly)
-It’s comfortable to grip
-Easy to use
-It gives a nice blow out look
-It’s easy to adjust the temperature
-It comes with a glove and clips

And here’s what I don’t like about this brush:
-It’s really hard to achieve a curly look. You’ll need a lot of practice
-The top of the handle (where the controls are) gets pretty warm
-The clips don’t have a strong hold. They fall out easily. I’d probably use a claw clip instead
-You have to wait until your hair is fully dry.

I think the main thing you’ll need to think about is the top of the handle, which gets pretty warm when you’re using it. Even for short periods of time, it can get warm. It’s not uncomfortable, but something to note if you’re going to be using this all day or something.

The other thing that irks me is that you kind of need to wait until your hair is fully dry. Usually right after a shower is when I like to start doing my hair, but because of the way this brush is, I can’t really use it that way. It’s still way better than a hair drying brush though, because it’s thinner and I have more maneuverability compared to the thicker hair drying brushes.

Overall I think I would recommend this brush. It’s great for doing your hair at home without going to the salon. At $42 I think it can save you a lot of time, and I think it’s worth it for that price. For me, I think it’ll be a good touch up brush for the mornings and what have you, but if you just want one thing to style your hair, this can be a good option. You’ll just need a lot of practice to get good, defined curls.

When I get out of a shower, my hair is usually similar to Albert Einstein's. It’s a little wild and lacks *volume*

I know very little about hair stuff as I’ve been someone who shaved my head most of my younger life. I grew my hair out and after using this what my wife calls a blowout it added volume or as I used to say, my hair needed some weight to it. I never needed a product or expensive shampoo, it was this.

I know it sounds silly, but remember, this is coming from someone who had a shaved head for 30+ years. I had no idea what I wanted or was looking for. I’ve grown to respect the amount of time ladies take to do their hair as I feel it can get exhausting. I’m happy I finally found the “tool” I didn’t know I needed and to my wife's credit, I never asked her and probably should have.

This curling iron brush gets hot fast. It seemed a little weird that it came with a protective glove until the first time I used the curling iron my finger very briefly touched near the barrel. I didn't realize how often I use my other hand to guide my hair onto the brush when curling it. Now I use the glove - no problems! You have the choice of 9 different heat levels and it does heat up very fast! There is a small button to increase the heat level and a separate button to decrease the heat level. I'd recommend starting at a lower level to find the heat level that is best for your hair. The larger 1.5" barrel makes it possible to either straighten your hair by running the brush through it or curl your hair by rolling your hair around the brush. I have found it much easier to style my hair using just one appliance rather than holding a dryer in one hand and a brush in the other. Note: unlike a dryer, you must use this brush on dry hair, so it is only for styling, not drying. It also comes with a storage bag, but it is for use once the iron is cooled. Unfortunately, the bag isn't quite big enough to hold the cord. I really wish it had come with an insolated (Teflon-lined) pouch as some curling irons do so it could be put away right after use. Overall, I am happy with the brush, and it has made my morning routine easier.
