I own a number of different dry bags of different materials and styles, and this one (10L, from the brand "Beesgarden") is generally in the middle of the pack as features and materials go. The product description says PVC, but it's one of the more rigid and inflexible PVCs I've encountered. Most dry bags are made of a rubberized vinyl that's quite flexible, with sealed seams, and while this is fully sealed the material feels thin, not rugged or heavy-duty. It's translucent, like one of my other dry bags, so you can see the contents (tinted orange). Size-wise, it's volume comes from length of the cylinder, not diameter, as it's quite small around. It would be good for stacking clothes up. The top seals up in normal fashion - fold multiple times, buckle together to hold the seal - and is water and air tight. Buckles are plastic and reasonable quality, and it includes a clip-on carrying strap. Also part of the package is a waterproof phone pouch which is near-identical to a brand-name waterproof case I've had for a few years now except for the colour and it's not padded. The closure mechanism is the same, with pressure-locked plastic shells clamping the seal, and an included carrying strap. The phone pouch is orange as well, with transparent windows over the screen and camera area. I wouldn't subject it to any great depth, but for paddle sports, tubing, or even swimming it should be fine and easily passed my immersion test. One note: touch controls through these pouches work in the air, but not well underwater.
As dry bags go, it's not amazing but also not at all bad. Solidly "okay" option, and the added phone pouch is a nice extra feature if you don't have one already. It's also well-priced at $18 CAD at time of review, which is definitely a good value. While I won't rely on this as my primary dry bag, it's certainly a nice extra option for protecting less-sensitive gear and clothes on the kayaks or paddleboard when we're out on the water.

Good Waterproof bag, mostly plastic vs rubber
This Waterproof Dry Bag comes in different sizes and colors. I got the Black 5L see thru model and it is a good size for essentials such as phone, wallet, keys, glasses, snacks, some clothes and small towels when going to the beach, a boat ride, Kayaking etc., but ideally to bring lots of clothes, large towel, shoes etc. consider a 10L or 20L depending on your needs.There is a strap that clips on the top to carry in your hand or on the side to carry on your shoulder, I prefer carrying on a shoulder.I have several types and sizes of dry bags and I’d say the material of this bag is more plastic vs the rubber of my other dry bags. I used to band birds on an island when I was in my 20’s, and some of my gear would always end up getting soaked on the boat ride over. I wish I’d had a pack like this Beesgarden product back then. This waterproof PVC bag feels like a quality product, and it offers plenty of storage space. It’s easy to use and, even better, it also comes with a waterproof pouch to protect your phone.
The soft PVC material feels quite strong, though I’m not sure how well it’ll protect against punctures. The cliplock strap makes it wonderfully easy to close, and it forms into a convenient carry handle. It also comes with a shoulder/storage strap, as well. The material is translucent, meaning you can see some of what’s inside the bag from the outside. That’s good in the sense that you don’t necessarily have to open the bag back up if you think you forgot something, but it also means other people can see what you’ve packed.
I have to say I was pretty tickled by the phone pouch. It’s relatively roomy, and I was able to fit my phone inside without removing the wallet case. The clip latch system generally works quite well, but it doesn’t take a lot of force to pop the latches open. If I was using it on a trip, I’d likely add a bit of tape over the corners. I wanted to see if it really was waterproof, so I put some tissues in it and submerged it in the sink. Everything was still completely dry ten minutes later.
At $17.99 it's priced very well compared to similar bags I’ve seen on Amazon. I can’t say for certain how durable it will be in the long term, but I’m very pleased with it so far. It doesn't hurt to shop around a little, but I’d definitely recommend this bag for weekend explorers.
