I was leery buying a mattress in a box. I was pleasantly surprised on the easy set up and the way the mattress looked. After three days you couldn’t tell the mattress came in a box. It looks just like a regular mattress. The mattress is very comfortable and medium/firm. i’ve been using it for three weeks now and it is just like the first time I used it. The mattress arrived very quickly, earlier than expected. I would certainly consider purchasing it again.

I had this in my cart for months terrified that it was not going to be good. I already had a bad experience ordering a mattress online from a big box store. Finally I took the plunge. It was so worth it! I have a bad lower back and this is the mattress that keeps me sleeping in bed and not getting up at 4 a.m. to sleep on the couch as I had been doing. I get a great night's sleep and my back is well supported. I just love it!

This mattress is very firm and did not help my back pain at all. We gave it 4 day to adjust laying flat on the floor prior to use. It is so uncomfortable. Additionally I tried to return though the 100 night guarantee that is listed. I submitted a claim through the BedStory website and never received a response. My hope was that this mattress would be medium firm, comfortable enough to use on its own, but it’s just not. Going to have to buy a topper to make it tolerable. Would not recommend.

Update: they finally replied. They did not offer return, but they offered a topper which I guess is better than nothing. Still, the topper makes the bed taller than I want it to be and it’s still not great even with it, although my husband feels it’s slightly better. I would not recommend this mattress alone unless you like an ultra firm mattress. It feels the same as an old spring mattress as if it has basically no padding on top. Also you have to pay the shipping if you return via Amazon. We will live with this mattress for a couple of years just so we haven’t wasted so much money, but hopefully we’ll find something better next time. The company when they messaged me still felt this was medium firm but there’s no way. We just had a medium firm mattress and it was way more comfortable than this.
