Soft and durable, easy to wash, very absorbent
These drooling bibs are just the thing for a busy mama with a teething baby.They are soft and comfy for the baby while being absorbent and easy to clean for mama.The 100% cotton is terry on the inner side that sits against baby's skin, so it's nice and soft. The outer side of the bibs -- in a variety of soft, muted colours which I really like -- is muslin, and together these make for nicely absorbent bibs that keep baby's clothes and surrounding areas clean and dry. The size and shape of them is also nice because they are small enough not to get in the way when the little one is crawling around but big enough to catch a lot of drool. Plus, they just look good! I love the bandana shape.Teething babies can drool a LOT so it is nice that there are so many (8) bibs in this package; you can change them as often as needed and still have extras on hand so that you don't have to launder them every single day.The double snaps allow for size variations as baby grows and also keep the bibs nicely snug without being too tight for comfort.These are machine washable so they can be easily tossed into the laundry with the regular giant piles that accumulate so quickly when you have infants to care for. It is one less thing to worry about. The last thing a busy mama needs is items that require hand washing at this point in life. :-)These would make a nice little addiiton to a baby shower gift. I can also envision a crafty sort of person (someone craftier than me, I mean) using a couple packages of these to make some kind of stacked cake-shaped gift out of them or something like that. Or maybe rolling them up into certain shapes and turning them into a money tree type of thing for a shower for a new young mama. Or rolling them up to make them look like a bouquet of flowers. I'm sure that the crafty folks can think of even more ideas that these would be great for.For all of the above reasons, these bibs earn 5 stars and I would recommend them.
