Q1. Why battery connector does not fit?

A1: Please check if you have bought and received wrong model battery, this battery is only for iPhone 6S Model A1633, A1688, A1700(Can’t fit for iPhone 6). Check the model number on the back of your phone .

Q2. Why phone can’t turn on?

A2: Make sure battery connector was connected correctly and charge phone for 15 minutes with original charger and cable. The charging needs to be charged to 5% before it can be turned on normally, If battery have exhausted battery power.

Q3. Why battery won’t charge?

A3: Maybe bad connect. Reopen your phone and reconnect the battery connector to logic board socket. Make sure battery connector connects well.

Replaced my iPhone 6S battery pretty easily in about 30 minutes - this comes with everything you need and the battery is much higher capacity than the original Apple battery. I followed the iFixit tutorial exactly and everything worked great. Removing the old battery adhesive and installing the new strips gave me the most anxiety but taking it slowly and paying close attention to what you're doing is the key. The metal screwdriver with magnetic bits was really nice and the included bits fit the screws perfectly. My kit came with a blue plastic pry tool instead of the metal one pictured, but did the job and is probably better anyway to lessen the chance of doing any damage when popping the cables loose from the circuit board. I'm very happy with the results and I'm not used to how long it lasts now after dealing with an always-dead battery for such a long time!

I bought my iPhone 6s in late 2015 just after they were released. About 2.5 years ago I got a new battery from Apple.

About six weeks ago I got this battery because the replacement Apple battery had lost considerable capacity.

So far, the battery has performed well. It's been a while since my Apple battery was fresh, but I think I do see an improvement in battery life over a new stock battery.

The kit was complete, and the installation went well.

The only snag was that one of the rubber strips you're supposed to use to pull the battery adhesive out from under the old installed battery broke off. This was on the Apple battery I was replacing and had nothing to do with this kit.

I mentioned it because I wanted to suggest the a tip on what to do if this happens.

I ended up using dental floss to get the old battery out. I hooked a piece of dental floss under the old battery and pulled it under it to cut the old adhesive on the side where I had broken the rubber pull tab.

The installation went smoothly until it came time to reinstall the almost microscopic screws inside the phone after the new battery was in place. Those screws are about the size of the head of a pin and I worked for a couple of hours to find a way to reinstall them inside the iPhone. The battery, however, seems to work just as advertised. The YouTube video was very helpful - in fact necessary - to get the job done.
