The HTRC B6V2 included the B6V2 Charging unit, a very nice charging cable with multiple connectors, also a very nice LiPo charging bag to help the spread of fire while charging, A 120VAC to 15VDC @ 6 Amp Toy transformer (like a laptop charger), all nicely packaged in a durable purpose designed HTRC Factory Box to keep everything neat and tidy.
I have been using the HTRC B6V2 Charger along side my B6AC for sometime now, they both perform very well, one might say identical? Overall I am very happy with the performance of the HTRC B6V2 Charger, I can honestly say that it will be traveling in my field bag from now on while its Big Brother waits at home for our return.
The only two issues that I have had with the B6V2 unit that I tested;
ONE: The notification sound is very faint at best, extremely hard to hear.
TWO: on this matter trust me I did them all from different types of batteries and their voltages, times, charging rates, discharging etc. Regardless of the charger settings the 120VAC wall charger supplied with the HTRC B6V2 that I tested did get very hot when using the HTRC B6V2 on any battery charging setting while I was I was charging batteries. The B6V2 itself did not get hot and performed as intended in every way.
I substituted another 120VAC Toy Transformer with the same output as the HTRC Charger and this did not happen. Keep in mind that many manufacturers buy these third party generic toy transformers, saving them production costs, and us, the customers a lot of money in the long run.
HTRC has wonderful customer service, support, and a very long track record of supplying dependable products to the RC market. The B6V2 is a hit in my book. I really like the new HTRC B6V2 a lot!

A decent balance charger is a necessity, and one of, if not the first thing you should buy when you find yourself getting into rc. These chargers are very affordable, easy to use and very reliable, which makes them especially ideal for anyone who’s new to the hobby.
This HTRC charger is a rebrand of the Skyrc Imax B6 V2. It’s a well known charger that’s been around for a long time. You’ll see it rebranded by a number of companies.
It balances perfectly, and The 80w charge current allows it to charge fairly quick.
Me personally, I been in the hobby for a while. I’m what you call a rc addict. I have 60+ rcs, over 100 lipos and enough spare parts and supplies to open a hobby shop out of my garage lol. This is my 5th balance charger and it still impressed me. One of my first chargers was the Imax ACB6, and it’s still my go too. This HTRC is set up almost exactly the same. biggest difference, it charges faster. I’ll definitely be using this charger regularly.
Here’s a little tip I thought of after I wrote this…
Since this charger does not have a cooling fan it does have the tendency to get hot when charging larger capacity batteries. Standing it up while charging so the heatsink is facing the ceiling really helps dissipate the heat, and keeps it running cooler.
