Charged one 3s lipo battery at 4 amps for about an hour, power supply got very hot and charger shut off. Will now turn on briefly and then turn off. I called Amazon and the refunded me my money. Was contacted by seller shortly after and the sent me a c150 charger which is the next step up. I would recommend paying the little bit extra and getting the c150, it’s a better quality unit with a cooling fan and is more compact. Also has a longer cord for balance charging which makes it easier for when your using the fire proof bag with a lipo battery.
Highly recommend this seller!

It's quick, the screen keeps you informed while charging.
It beeps when capacity is reached.
Has all the options you could ever need.

Only one issue,
if you have batteries with an EC5 connector, you will need to buy an EC5 charging cable with banana plugs, or an adapter to EC5 from one of the other available plugs.

I only paid $55 CDN for this B6 v2.
Amazing value for this kit.

This the 2nd one a brought good little chargers only downside is when discharging a lipo they do become very hot which is when I let it cool off before continuing storage mode. Other then that great little chargers brought 2 cause then I can charge battery's faster

So I got this unit back in december and used it for airsoft replica batteries (11.1v 3cells liPo). I used the charger a grand total of 6 times (3 batteries * 2). The power brick gave out mid charging on my last battery, seems something short circuited inside. You can see in the picture the bubbles on the sticker due to heat. Worst thing is, it doesnt seem to have any sort of fail safe, i plugged it in with the last battery for about 20min. When I came back to it, the power brick was untouchable without gloves because it was so hot. Now, I’m no expert, but something tells me that if I hadnt come to check on it, I could’ve burned my house down. Can’t recommend the product at ALL. Stay safe and get a proper « hobby » battery charger.

I bought this charger being new to the hobby and will be expanding my stable soon and wanting more flexibility then my Spektrum s120 charger can provide. I’ve used this to charge my spektrum 3c 2200 mah batteries so I’m basing my review with that being said. Batteries charged in easily half the time if not better (about 45-50 minutes in balance charge mode). I haven’t used the other modes yet but the UI is easy to navigate and the manual was adequate. Just plug in the battery. The charger will recognize the number of cells. Enter a few small details and your charging. Plus it will save you the few small steps next time in the memory and get you charging faster in the future. There are plenty of user preferences and safety options in the menu that are easy to find. Only issues I have is one of the batteries doesn’t have a balance lead and kicks an error message when I try to charge it. The battery does clearly state it requires a spektrum smart charger so I don’t fault the product and honestly could be me. I messed with it a little but haven’t gotten it to work. Just something I thought worth mentioning but can’t say if the charger is doing what it should (I get the feeling it is) or me. Either way not a deal breaker since I’m not trying to burn the house down and something I’m aware of going forward. Speaking of not burning the house down the fire bag that comes with it seems decent. I have not and hope to never have to test it but at least it’s something. Only downside is it’s a little cramped to have it in the bag and hooked up and charging. Again not a deal breaker. For the price, efficiency, and versatility I’m satisfied
