It's decent but lacks the punch I find in other brands like Club Coffee or Bucks.

I recommend shaking the pods to loosing up the grounds, this can prevent the top of the pod from blowout.

EDIT. I am in my fourth box of this coffee, I enjoyed 72 glorious cups of coffee. On my fourth box the label, coffee, and I assume blend have changed drastically. I can no longer drink these tabs and I am stuck with 23 because Amazon won’t take them back and Barrie House whom I emailed over a week ago did not return my complaint.

I am thinking about shifting any grocery purchases back to a grocery store as I could always return any bad item.

So such luck here, and I greatly miss my favourite cup of coffee😞.

I am no coffee snob, and I prefer medium to light roast coffee. My guess would be that this is less then 10% Kona coffee as the Hapa means blend.. Real Kona is very expensive, and from what I can see there are no 100 percent Kona coffees available for k cups.

That all said with COVID lock downs this is my go to afternoon k-cup. My little afternoon indulgence. I have one ever afternoon at around 2PM. It really brightens my afternoon. It is a really nice full body cup of coffee. Definitely has a uniqueness that I don't find in any other of my k cups.

If you enjoy a medium roast coffee you are going to love this coffee blend.

I was disappointed when I tasted this coffee for the first time. I was expecting a nice smooth robust Columbian coffee taste, it actually tastes a tad burnt and more like motel coffee. Since I only use about 4-5 oz to make my coffee, I can't imagine what it would taste like if you made a bigger mug.
The packaging is nice though.

Ritual is a loaded word, your morning ritual may be get up, scratch junk, make bed, have a shower, drink coffee or something more involved such as dance like only Satan is watching, eat a baby, dunk baby in coffee like a screamy biscotti. Not going to judge; though making the bed that early is weird. No matter what your ritual is, this is the coffee for it. It is strong, fierce, and made of drama and caffeine. This is a get stuff done coffee. Highly recommended.

Wow, the stuff is really good. I am a skeptic, I find a new product, and I have troubles replacing old ones! So far this one is a friggin keeper! Extra bold French roast, it is exactly that! I use it in the Keurig 2.0 multi stream. I would honestly say that it has a tad higher caffeine content than the Sta+€%#ks French roast(that’s a good thing)!! I have to say it is a lot fresher, and easier to recycle than most! And it’s just over $13 for 24 pods on monthly subscription! Sure beats the out of stock Sta+€%#ks at $19 on subscription! Yeah Me!

Having lived in Hawaii for close to my entire adult life, short of flying back for a Cup of Kona this is as good as it might get. Rich and Smooth as I remember and a appealing aroma as it is brewing. The pods themselves are "fuller" than most of the others I have tried.The issue we have is NOT with the Coffee, our Keurig 475 doesn't like the Pods being THIS full, apparently, and when we brew we get the "brewing needle is clogged" message. For me it is not a "Buzz Kill" I use my di Oro reuseable filter and brew it and all is Good.

Update: Thank you Ms. Nichols for reaching out to me. I am absolutely floored by the level of customer care that you folks provide. I've honestly never experienced anything like this before. I was already impressed with your brand, but this really took things to the next level! I had a look at several of your other coffees and I will be trying them in the near future.

Since my review I have also tried Dark Mystery, Pacific Northwest Espresso, and Arrosto Scuro (Italian Roast) and enjoyed all of them. Barrie House cannot be found in any retail stores where I live, so I plan on taking some of these cups to work with me and sharing with my fellow coffee drinkers who may not have heard of this brand.

Bold and flavorful. One of the best K-Cups that I have had in a while, better than Peet's. Caffeine content was tolerable and did not have me climbing the walls. I am definitely a fan and I will be buying this again.

My only complaint is with Amazon and not Barrie House. Coffee got shipped in plastic bags from Amazon warehouse. So retail packaging had been damaged enough to where some k-cups had fallen outside of of the box. Fortunately all cups appear to be usable.

I brewed this on the 6oz setting on the K-Supreme Plus. Strength setting, level 3. Temperature setting, level 2.

I bought this on a whim since it was inexpensive. The coffee was really good and I was very surprised! It was a great medium between light and dark coffees: with all the flavor of a dark roast but none of the aftertaste. I thought the flavor was not very complex with a hint of nutty taste and very smooth.

I thought the brand and packaging was very nice, everything is made in the USA and the box is 100% recyclable (you can even recycle the Keurig cup you make it with)! The bottom of the box was labeled with all of those amazing things that make you feel good about buying from them, like the box being from recycled from 100% materials and forest sustainability etc.

Cons about this were: it definitely doesn't have that Kona taste. They rate it 7/10 on the box for intensity, it's not intense and it doesn't have that volcanic acidity Kona is known for. (But seriously, you can't get Kona taste in a Keurig cup! It's instant!) The map on the box also throws you off. It says Asia/Pacific... and while Hawaii is in the Pacific, I thought it was poor marketing.
