About Our Founder

Hello! My name is Kristina. I am a wife, mom of 3 little ones, and the inventor of Baby Bumco.

My first son had a GI irritation that resulted in constant acidic poops as a newborn. His bum was raw with open blisters for over 40 days. Bringing relief to him consumed my every thought. At one point I read that proper diaper cream application included washing your hands before applying diaper cream. I knew this was not practical and was also tired of constantly smelling cream on my hands, so I invented the Baby Bumco Diaper Cream Brush. It's made of soft flexible silicone and is perfectly designed to gently brush diaper cream on little bums. Since the brush, I have developed several other products that I believe are game changers for diaper changers!

Baby Bumco are thoughtfully designed, quality inspected, and shipped from South Carolina.

This may seem like a lot of money for a brush but it’s seriously one of my favourite baby products out there!! I bought another one for travel. I hate getting diaper cream all over my hands when you are trying to hold on to baby which most of the time ends up on the baby as well! It’s nice and soft for baby’s bum and very easy to use. Love the suction cup at the bottom so u can get the cream ready before the diaper comes off.

I worked in daycare and we use a disposable barrier for cream. I did not have these items at home are would be wasteful on my own child. So at home with my our child this works wonders. My hand isn’t dirty and it spreads way less cream smoothly over a rash vs using a Kleenex.

It's not necessary but it's practicle enough that we ordered one to try it. Definetly less messy than using your fingers. The thing that disapointed me was the suction power. It doesn't stick very much and when it does, it goes off rapidly. I bought it especially because it could stay upright. I could have just bought a small ruber spatula at the dollar store and I think it would do the same.

As the title says I didn’t know I needed this, my almost 10 month old twins have been getting bad diaper rash with the introduction to solids and I was sick of the cream getting everywhere during the alligator death roll while changing them. So much easier and faster I bought two more so I had one on every floor. I use much less product because it’s not stuck to my finger or all over my child’s legs, hands
, clothes and whatever else happens to be in a 4 foot radius.

I purchased the BabyBum Diaper Cream Brush as a baby gift for a first-time mom. My son and daughter-in-law have 2 for my grandchild--one for the nursery and one for the diaper bag. This is one of the best ideas ever. As any parent knows, any diaper rash prevention/treatment product worth the name is thick, sticky, and hard to get off the hands of the diaper changer. Hand application results in using more product than necessary because about 1/3 to 1/2 of the product seems to remain on the fingers of the person applying. THEN comes the problem of getting it off the fingers so the diaper can be closed and fastened. This item is like a third hand--no joke! It has a suction cup base that keeps it anchored to the changing table or nearby chest in an upright position. This means you can load the spatula-like applicator end with the diaper cream product BEFORE removing the dirty diaper. Your hands stay free of the cream while you tidy baby and position the clean diaper. The brush is very soft and flexible, but it is silicone so the cream does not adhere to it like it does to skin and you truly use much less. Then, when you are finished with application, the brush can be "stuck" back in an upright position to the surface of the chest/table until diapering is done, so no messy transfer. Cleanup is a breeze with a baby wipe. What I would have given to have this 28 years ago! Some of the best money you will ever spend! Additional comment: I just realized something! I'm going to order one of these things for myself-- to apply depilatory cream to my face! Update: I did purchase this product specifically to apply depilatory cream to my face and it works like a charm. Very pleased!
