We were hoping it would also discourage the slamming. Unfortunately, when he tries to slam the door with the foam piece it makes this new noise that he very much enjoys so he keeps doing it over and over again. Oh the joys of new stims. If you know, you know. The piece we put is already getting a deep enough indent so not sure how long it will last but it stays on the door so that’s a plus.
