All the large panels in my voice over studio I made myself because I didn't want acoustic panels with rockwool or fiberglass inside them. While those materials are great for sound dampening, they are dangerous to breathe and to touch, and I didn't want to take any chances. What I love about these acoustic panels is that they contain a dense polyester fiber, rather than rockwool or fiberglass, and they are covered neatly with a nice acoustic fabric that wraps all the way around and isn't just stapled onto the front of the frame. They also work well and definitely deaden the reverb.
I had been hoping they'd be a little bigger, but it's my own fault for not considering how small 2ft X 1 ft. actually is. They still work well as additional panels added above my big wall panels to cover the area near the ceiling. The adhesive on the back is super strong, and I suspect you could even use these as cloud panels if you wanted to. I like the idea of being able to move them around in case I don't get them in the ideal location the first time I place them, so I elected to prop them up for now. Eventually I'll probably use screw eyes to hang them like another reviewer did.
Overall, I love the sturdiness, the eco-friendliness, and the sound absorption of these panels. They look nice and are well-made.
