I previously had the LST420 and it lasted me 10 years and I put quite a few miles on it. The bottom caps wear out, but it's not really a problem as they're pretty easy to get. Some small changes
Don't expect the power of a gas trimmer but if you're not in a rush the trade off is the convenience you get, not having to deal with mixed gas, cold starts, and it's lightweight. If you are using it to maintain already maintained grass it does a great job. I like the added control using the wheel with edging and the auto line feed works well.
I will mention this one is quite short. I have it fully extended and I'm not tall by any means. It is adjustable but they didn't give a whole lot of play with to it.
Hopefully it's made as well as my last one.

Was sceptical at first that I would have enough battery to do the entire yard but wow was I surprise I did my entire back yard front yard and it’s a big yard and I still had battery juice after all that work amazing. It cuts good big weeds tall grass it did what it is supposed to do. The only downfall is you have to hold the button the entire time your weed waking but i understand it’s probably for safety reasons overall very good.

Love my new weed wacker. Comes with a 2.5 amp battery. Last 2x as long as my previous 1.5 amp unit. Best thing is the wheel for edging. Way better than the bar on other units. Don’t care much for the AUTO feed - as most people mention, it does feed way too often, wasting string. Would have preferred the string advance button that my last unit had.
Unfortunately these units will not last long. I’m on my 3rd one in about 4 years. But hey- for the price and size of my lawn I don’t need a $400 unit.

The trimmer is very useful. It is very easy to switch from vertical to horizontal. The automatic feed works well. I use the trimmer once a week for 90 minutes. It would be better if the trimmer was sold with a second battery depending on the work the one battery is insufficient.
