I find the colors to be a bright pastel rather than soft pastel which is good because I prefer bright pastels for highlighting text. The pack of pastel highlighters received has two orange colors and no blue color. I would give them a 5 over all rating if the pack had six different colored pastel highlighters as advertised.

Compared to other brands Beck have good quality product, this highlight in particular are really good quality and they don’t change color in time like the other cheap ones too, it seems they have no smell and they dry pretty quickly which makes it really nice for quick highlighting jobs, for the price it is recommended for sure.

These are great! First, the colors are pastel but you definitely can see whatever you highlight. Second, they have good performance; they write smoothly and they have lasted longer than most I've used in the past. Third, they dry fairly quickly. The one downside is that on some inks they smear a little.
Overall, I definitely recommend using these.
