To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It took me awhile to get the HD and SD working on my TV. Had to use the "menu" on my remote a few times. Biut in the end I figured it out. The dish works good.
Easy to install. Just use the Bell instructions to locate elevation. Set elevation or asmuth using the graduations on the dish. Use a compass to locate direction. Make sure the pole you mount the dish to is perfectly level on all sides. You will connect to the satellite without any issues. The db metre will tell you when the signal is at the strongest.
Do yourself a favour and don’t buy this. Thought I’d give it a try, sadly that did not work out. You get a brand new dish, but a refurb LNB. you have no idea how old the LNB is and it is critical to getting a good signal from the sat. Chances are many of these refurbs are 10 plus years old with questionable amount of life left. The one I got was extremely weathered and did not work at all. Just junk. Buy a brand new LNB, you will be a lot happier.
Installation of dish was fairly simple and it worked well. Only item I question is that the instructions for the installation was not included and for an inexperienced installer it might prove difficult. Package has mounting hardware included but for a permanent install one should use heavier mounting bolts.
