InfiRay T2 Pro Thermal Monocular

The InfiRay T2 pro iOS version not only is a thermal camera, but also a thermal monocular. It is a handheld device that uses thermal imaging to see in the dark. It has a long-range viewing distance of up to 1300m, making it designed specifically for observing in difficult or dangerous environments.

The T2 pro iOS version fits the bottom of your iOS smartphone and easily turns your phone into a thermal spotter. It's going to change the dynamics of being able to record the shooting in thermal. It is a thermal spotter monocular with all the features of recording, imaging, and hotspot tracking, it is phenomenal!

APP Installation

There's the APP called " Xinfrared "for you to have a look at straight into it. You can find it in your play store.

The camera works fine when connected directly to the phone, but the lighting to lighting cable provided so that it can be used on the mount does not work at all. Customer service at Xinfrared was not helpful. I requested they send a functioning cable but I haven't received a response. I have to either replace the entire kit or buy a new cable, and the only replacements cables are very long.

My only complaint as at least a couple others have said, is I wish it had a wider angle. Other than that, I have no experience with any other such camera, and it seems to work very well. Plug and play (once you download the software into your phone) I can walk barefoot across the floor, then look back with the camera and see every step. The focus ring is a little stiff, but better stiff then loose. Now to go out looking for bigfoot! HaHa.

However, when I first initially started using it, my iPhone would always freeze up and I’d have to restart the app. I got fed up and was considering returning it when I thought, maybe if I place my phone on airplane mode then maybe it would work flawlessly as it should be.
