I wanted a shredder that would be somewhat portable lightweight and convenient as to not have to always go downstairs to my larger unit which handles larger quantities of paper and this unit does the trick!Just remember that it can only do about 4 sheets at one time! It also is capable of shredding your expired credit cards Bonus!The only improvement i would have liked is to have the bin lock in place to the main body of the unit as the way it is now the bin and actual shredder are two individual pieces so you always have to remove the shredder from the disposal bin!otherwise a well made compact little unit at an affordable! happy with the purchase!!

This thing was fantastic even when I started I thought it’s so small I do not have high hopes having had many shredders over the years, but it blew through all of the things I needed to shred Over the course of two days of shredding. I just had to let it cool down a couple of times it was a champ. I would not hesitate and recommending it so glad I bought it. It performs so well I live in a small space and didn’t want to buy a large shredder. This is easy I can just store it easily and use it when I need it highly recommend .

Ma réflexion a changé , puisque n’ayant qu’une main fonctionnelle , je peux lever la partie ou se trouve le moteur grâce à la poignée et la légèreté de cette partie. Il ne me reste qu’à vider la corbeille ! Fini de demander aux autres de le faire pour moi ! Par contre, la fente pour passer une feuille est plus petite que standard . Vous devez donc plier la feuille avant de la déchiqueter .

If you shred something more than once a week, you may want to look into a bigger option.

I purchased 20 of these for my office and they do the job well enough... but after consistent use, the mechanism has separated on several of them as it's only in a plastic enclosure and they no longer work. Once the plastic enclosure wears out they no longer shred plastic cards and they tend to get jammed in the teeth, half shredded.

We are only using them to shred debit style plastic cards, one at a time so I was surprised. Out of 20 I ordered, 4 broke within the first 6 months of use.

They still seem to be the best bargain/price for what they do, just a bit disappointing that several have broken so quickly after using them as directed.

On the negative side, the opening will only accommodate a greeting card envelope that has been torn in half, and that is all of the thickness that it can shred.
