I purchased this mic to use for live streaming, podcasting, and YouTube video voiceovers to replace the Neewer condenser mic I was using. I plug into a Yamaha MG10XU mixer as a preamp/USB interface.

PROS:
- Rock solid build quality
- Very low self noise.
- Very good signal to noise ratio
- Built in high pass filter
- Pleasing sounding presence boost in the 10kHz-15kHz range
- Reasonably priced

CONS:
- 5/8 to 3/8 mic stand adapter is cheap plastic
- Carry case is flimsy
- Shock mount uses friction only (no indents or any other type of secondary lock), and while it hasn't slipped yet, the plastic construction and lack of secondary lock doesn't inspire confidence.

Overall, I'm very satisfied that all of the pros went into the construction and sound of the mic itself. While this isn't going to force Neumann to slash their prices for fear of losing sales, this is a very solid price-to-performance condenser microphone that just sounds really good on voice. Recommended.

Absolutely love this microphone. I have used it for over a year now, and it is incredible. The sound quality is outstanding, it can be attached to many different types of stands and boom arms with the provided AT adapter that unscrews to reveal a standard threading for most stands etc.

The low cut filter provides excellent vocal quality and when used in conjunction with Adobe Audition audio mixing software with added effects, the results are PHENOMENAL.

5 stars, absolutely recommend for podcasting, even instruments from the research i have done (Please note, I do not use it for instruments so keep that in mind)

I will very likely be purchasing more of this product, or the newer version of it at a later date. Excellent product

I got this mic for long conference call sessions where voice quality has some importance as well as recording classes I teach and sound bites for imbedding in presentations for these classes. I have used these mic’s before for studio and recording work as well as live amping of classical cathedral choirs. They are awsome instruments that offer fantastic sound, reliability, flexibility of setting, subject and outcome and all at a price that can’t be beat. They are quite robust, bearing in mind they are precision tools, and offer the best range of audio stream or recording for a very reasonable price.

I use this mic in combination with a RodePSA1 arm and a Scarleto 2i2 interface.
It comes with it's own shock mount and I bought a windscreen sleeve for it.
This is by far the absolute best microphone you can buy without going upto a Shure mic in the 500$ range.
It picks up the depth in my voice and is just the right amount of warm for me.
Crystal clear and crisp without picking up everything around the room.

Realmente pongo este micrófono por encima de muchos por este rango de precio e inclusive por encima de micrófonos un poco más costosos. Cabe mencionar que he probado los micrófonos: shure pga27, behringer B2 pro, neet worker bee, at 2020, behringer c3, entre otros. Y realmente tené cosas más destacables en cuanto a sonido que estos antes mencionados, hace un excelente trabajo cancelando el ruido de fondo, además su nivel de ruido propio es muy bajo por su precio, a comparación del B2 de behringer que tiene un ruido propio muy alto. Su sonido vocal es excelente, súper neutro, natural y con el cuerpo que le da ese toque "profesional" que no tiene el AT2020, unos agudos súper ricos sin llegar a ser sibilante como el pga27 (qué además suena muy pesado). He hecho pruebas con el de saxofón, guitarra, guitarra amplificada, armónica, voces y su sonido en todos casos me ha convencido, además que tiene un pad de -10 db para fuentes sonoras muy altas y otro low cut lo que se agradece para grabar instrumentos.

Realmente lo recomiendo como primera opción sino tiene un presupuesto bastante elevado pero tampoco muy mínimo, tal vez y se ahorre muchas horas buscando el micrófono de entrada ideal para su Home Studio. Yo amé el at2035
