5.0 out of 5 stars Found this to be a very good light meter.

I've been looking for a light meter for film photography for years. I've tried the external handheld ones, but found they take very long, and without spending $300 for the better ones with spot meter, I found the basic ones lacking. After reading reviews on the various digital ones that seem to have been launched in the past 3 years, I took a shot at this one. Great news is it seems to work splendidly!
Shot a few rolls with this, and all of my photos were well exposed (except for ones I know were my fault!).
The dial is a bit finicky, and either scrolls too far when trying to dial it in, or VERY EASILY gets turned and changes settings without intent. But I try to check settings each time with film photography (try, but don't always!), and would try even if I didn't experience those issues...so while it could and should be improved in future versions (more easily lock settings, and maybe make it so you have to hold down the button when spinning the dial to change shutter speed or aperture settings so that it doesn't just change settings when in the camera bag), it's very usable and does what it says on the tin...accurately (most importantly)!!!
I do expect to have to use common sense in various higher-contrast or bright / dark settings, but for day to day walk-around, it's working really well. Very pleased.
I also love how it has a rechargeable battery with battery indicator!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little light meter for any film camera.

Does not look out of place and brings a bit of tech to an older film camera. Very accurate and easy to use, just be careful that the main selector wheel has not moved while taking readings if the camera has been in and out of its case. The hot shoe mounting has three positions making it easy to make room for the shutter release button on most cameras. Very well built out of solid aluminium with a good battery life, easily re-charged through a USB type C connector.

Ansosnten: ok.
