Was there anything wrong with this bulb? No. It was a typical Edison bulb, and a very good price on sale. They came well packaged and no lights were broken when they arrived. I did not pay close enough attention to the fact that it’s said a yellow light. This creates a very warm light that was almost to yellow. If you do not mind that very warm hue, then I would recommend this lightbulb. We were putting it into a dark gray washroom and it just didn’t work.

These bulbs are quite bright (because they have clear covers) and look great. They are definitely "warm white" and make the room appear a bit more yellow compared to bulbs with 3000K or higher color temperature (often generally called "bright white" or "daylight"). I can't speak for their longevity yet as they have only been installed for a few weeks.

Lights do far more than illuminate a space. I have lots of mission style furniture accompanied by Tiffany-style lighting. I have researched the gamut of bulbs. These Aschers are rated at 2200K which gives off a beautiful warm tone to the entire lighted area. Moving up the K scale goes to harsher white lighting which loses the ambiance and warmth. If this is what you are looking for, these bulbs will certainly be a pleasant addition to your home.
