Use with cleaning liquid

1.Use a paper clip to pierce through the mouth of the liquid bottle.

2. Pour 3-5 drops of cleaning liquid into the liquid hole of the VHS cleaner.

3.Insert the VHS cleaner into the player.

4.Press the "play" button to start cleaning.

Non-disposable item

1.It is recommended to clean for 30-60 seconds.

2.Repeat the process can make better effect. The product can be reused for 30 times.(The actual situation depends on how dirty the white cleaning tape is.)

3.After cleaning, wait about 10 minutes for the player to dry before using it.

Terrible, went to clean first vcr and it kinda worked but tape kept stopping after a few seconds. Pressed play again to restart and it worked. Shot term fix, by the time I played a tape that I knew was good it was worse than before cleaning. Tried tape in 2 other functional vcrs and tape got jammed and now both eat tapes when I try and use them.

I use my VCR to transfer tapes to digital, and a bad tape messed it up. I tried using a dry head cleaner, but it didn't do anything. I decided to give this a shot, and it worked! Just bear in mind that the instructions don't make sense. It says to run the head cleaner for 30-60 seconds, but it only runs for about 3. I was worried that this meant it wouldn't work, but thankfully it did!

I generally hate leaving negative reviews, but seriously -- calling this junk would be an insult to junk. The tape is so loose and flimsy that neither of my VCRs will drive it. I put the tape in, it creaks, squeaks and groans and then both machines spit it out like something that tastes terrible.

Don't waste your money, it doesn't work.

I bought this for my family because we couldn’t watch the tapes. Figured it might have been the very old player. Turned out the player just didn’t work anymore. Tried using it on another player we had but the tape had got stuck inside. Not sure if I misused it. Luckily the tape did not tear! We played our old tapes to watch and it worked, ig we didn’t need it completely. But we have it just in case we ever do.

I remember using these as a kid, this works, but wow is it flimsy! You can use this as a wet or dry system, I use the wet system first, then wait 15mins and use it again as a dry system. The cartridge is super flimsy and the little cover for the dropper is really poorly made/designed. However it does work as I expected. I found that I had to rewind it by hand since my VCR gets freaked out by these things. I purchased a used VCR to DVD-RW combo to convert VHS to DVD and got this to help clean off any of the residue goo from the previous owners. So far it works, but handle the cartridge with care.
