Spent 45 mins picking this nasty smelly gross stuff out of the laptop it was so yucky I lysoled the heck out of everything I literally feel sick to my tummy lol - customer support will exchange but other than this it works perfectly - definitely should have been heavily discounted 🤮

Laptop cannot be used without being plugged in - the battery is completely shot. The laptop has 2 service warnings about it. I get 20 seconds of power if it's unplugged. Would a battery not be the first thing tested/replaced on a refurbished laptop? Buyer beware - none of the other reviews were on here when I made my purchase, but it seems like these are no in fact "refurbished" units, but rather units that were sent for refurbishment and never touched. I priced out a new battery at $270 CAD + tax; more than half of the entire computer. No thank you. Will be returning as soon as possible.
Edited (02/27/2024) : the audio also does not work on this computer. The internal speakers are completely shot. No amount of troubleshooting will make them play sound unless a Bluetooth speaker is connected - so this "refurbished" laptop can't even be used to listen to music or watch videos.

At first it was okay but then I noticed a crack on the screen and the sides were giving off orange hues which was weird then it would shut down at 30%. I only got to use it for like an hour (or less depending on the apps running) then it shuts down.

Los aspectos físicos del producto me impresiono que viniera en un excelente estado realmente no nada de maltrato, claro es usada sin embargo repito no tiene nada que pueda ser un problema.
Utilizándola esta última semana me eh percatado que se comienza a elevar la temperatura del equipo cuándo la utilizo en un periodo alargado pero igualmente no representa un problema en la capacidad del equipo para manejar y hacer tareas.
Le doy 5 estrellas porque el equipo venía prácticamente nuevo y no eh tenido problemas aun con el, si lo recomiendo para utilizarlo de manera cotidiana y para jna vida universitaria!.

Right off the bat, as soon as I opened the laptop, I noticed debris all over the screen and keyboard. It was not a great first impression. To make matters worse, there are several deep scratches and very noticeable dents on three of the four corners of the screen, as well as two on the keyboard.
Another letdown is the keys. The "a" and "e" keys have clearly rubbed off from use, which is expected for a used laptop. However, instead of replacing them, they simply put stickers over them.
To top it all off, the screen is covered in what appears to be small chips or scratches.
I could overlook these cosmetic issues since I purchased a case that covers most of them. Unfortunately, I have my concerns about the performance of it as well.
Firstly, the battery has already reached 573 cycles. Service is already being recommended.
Furthermore, the generic charger that is included takes an incredibly long time to fully charge the battery and, to make matters worse, it gets excessively hot during the charging process.
Lastly, even during regular usage, the laptop itself tends to become very hot after just a couple of minutes.
Considering these performance-related issues, it becomes increasingly difficult to justify the purchase of this laptop. The only reason I am hesitating to return it is because I urgently need a laptop for school, and I simply do not have the time to ship it back and wait for a replacement.
