This is a genuine Apple adapter. I thought I was making a good decision with a two-pack of similar non-apple adapters, but soon realized they only worked occasionally for some reason. When they did work, they would stop working if I switched applications on my phone or if I bumped the plug with my hand; very sensitive and frustrating.
