If you need something to make a matte surface so that you don't get glare off indoor lights, maybe this is OK, but it is practically impossible to install without bubbles. I need something to help with the glare when using a pad outside in the bright sunlight. This product makes a pad or laptop completely impossible to use outside.

 I have not placed the Anti-Glare protector on the screen yet. I have several reviewers complaining about this. Although I still had the protector in its clear package, the screen was still visible. The screen colors were vibrant. Regarding the BLUE RAY BLOCKER TESTER, I was a little worried. From the video, you will notice that the blue violet light was stronger with the Anti-Glare protector. When I place the Anti-Glare Protector, I will give another update.

The anti-glare aspect of the screen works very well and doesn't compromise the clarity of my screen when I use it in the sun or inside. Very happy with the product. Just so hard to get all the bubbles out and get it on the screen without a bit of the corner raised up (from trying to get the bubbles out!). I think these things can only be put on by the techs who do it all the time - but so frustrating for the rest of us! I don't think this is specific to this screen - I'd definitely recommend it!

It fits over the actual screen, not over the entire monitor area. The application is no different than cell phone covers: clean, wipe, remove, lay down. You are working with a very large cover so the environment and cleaning you do is important to ensure you don't have any dust on there. One tiny grain size piece will make this hell. I'm giving it three stars because the stickers that say remove side 1 and side 2 do not pull off the cover, and side 2 will pull up the entire cover. Also, mine had a spot missing adhesive on the top left corner.

Pros:
Fits a very large screen
The anti glare is great
Works same as cell phone covers

Cons:
Easily gets dirty
Stickers don't remove the cover
Side 2 will pull the entire cover up after you've layer it down

Verdict:

We DJ outdoors quite often and needed a anti-glare screen. Worked for us. We found it a 2 person job. If you get the edges on one side started have the other person hold the other end up and then take the cardboard pusher and push it against the film in the middle just a little at a time (raising it back up when you have bubbles) it worked wonderfully. No complaints and the price was right!
