Hard to get good cables, better the miner issues this one has over the disaster fakes that catch fire... put things into perspective, your other belongings are safe with these.

They carry power ok, many devices connect well, but some usb c ports like the one on my phone are a little loose. This is an issue with many cables and in my opinion is just that the usb c connector isn't as robust as it could have been if durability was targeted over having a round, pretty, small, apple-esk connector... definitely seeing apple's influence on the usb c design there.

As such the cable sometimes needs to be held in and put in perfectly straight as it can fall out of the port... not the only cable that does this but again this is likely due to manufacturing tolerances of the ports and cables.

Another thing is that the material of the cable is some kind of rubbery plastic, acceptable, but when it rubs against things it starts to feel tacky or sticky. I prefer braided cables for this reason as they feel more premium. But I think this probably won't matter much for the function of the cable, just a pet peeve of mine.

It works, it's probably a good cable, but I eish for the price it was braided so it would feel more premium. That and usb c in general is a missed opportunity to make a better port but it just feels delicate, even good cables like this don't feel as nice or as durable as they could if the standard were better.
