Great capacity, but getting two smaller Anker batteries might be a better option.
After testing I've found this 26800 battery is slightly worse on all metrics compared its smaller 20100 sister. (Which is great) The two unique advantages of this battery are 1) large capacity, and 2) dual-input fast input charging. Both of these features have smallish benefits comparison to Anker's other offerings.1. Using a load testing device, I measured the Watt/hours that this battery can deliver. 75.599Wh @5v. (Rated capacity is 99.16 Wh) This means that the battery is 76% efficient. In contrast, the 20100 battery delivers deliver:61.211Wh @5v. (Rated capacity is 74.37 Wh) The smaller battery is 82% efficient - 6% better than this larger brother. This means that even though the 26800 looks like it will give you 33% more power, it only really gives you about 23% more juice than the 20100.2. It doesn't seem to deliver it's maximum advertised input charge speed when using the special dual-input charge method. Using a single cable, the charge rate "bounces around" at different speeds for about 10 seconds before settling on a final sustained charge speed. Usually, this will settle at a speed of 2.0 amps (which is a decent speed for a single cable). When adding the second cable however, this 2.0A speed of the first cable is reduced, and the two cables together will never charge the battery at more than a total of 3.0 amps. (The previously fast 2.0A connection will be reduced to something like 1.2A when the second cable is connected, and together they equal roughly 3.0A) Moreover, if the second cable is unplugged the remaining cable will often drop down to a slower charge rate like 1.0A. The battery then needs both cables to be unplugged so that it can "reset" and give another try at charging quickly.Summary: After the most recent $15 price cut (currently) $65.99, the price of this battery is 46% more than the 20100 for only a 23% increase in usable capacity. If you need alot of battery capacity, the better option is to buy two 20100 batteries. You'll get much more capacity for the money, and you'll be able to charge at an effective 4.0A because the batteries are independent.

I did notice the extra weight when I first picked my new portable battery up. Yes, it was a little longer than my old battery charger. No fancy coLour designs from Ankor- just black. Now if I was to go try and find my battery charger after dropping it on a hike, that would be challenging. So I am adding an Apple locator button and 3M white and red reflective tape. That makes it even easier to find in my house.

I did note other comments about battery life, so when I use mine, I let it completely discharge and then I put the Anker PortaPower to use again. But boy was I impressed with how long this PortaPower lasted!! Like I used my iPhone attached to the PortaPower a lot over about five days and it kept my iPhone charged - Wow, it is good and does deserve those five stars.

I’ve only had my Anker PortaPower for a couple of weeks. But at dusk, I put it on charge with the two enclosed charger wires. Then in the morning all four blue lights are visible.

Cost wise it’s not that bad at about 87.00 CDN dollars considering the value of having my iPhone keep going. Hell Ya, no regrets in cost versus value my friends.

For functions, one button makes things easy for my brain to operate the Anker PortaPower. I do like the option of having three USB ports to be able to plug in other accessories like my USB LED light and my iPad while operating the iPhone. Lol no USB printer yet, but I’m sure one is out there.

Did I mention that it was big? Well to put your Anker PortaPower in your pants pocket; you sure hope this big fella doesn’t catch your little fella on fire. Consumers hear so much about batteries spontaneously igniting and causing fires. Well so far, the Anker PortaPower keeps “warm” but not hot. My last portable battery got hot in my pocket. I should also add that Anker has enclosed a nice fabric case to put your charging cord plus the Ankor PortaPower into while transporting it around (in your pocket maybe??). Anyway, in the fabric case the user does not notice any heat from your PortaPower.

Yes, a great little piece of technology that really helps me out every day keeping my busy iPhone going- LOVE IT!

A little bit on the heavy side, and not small either but it’s well made and worth it. Good reviews, and has enough to power for several iPhone 13 charges, and could easily charge my MacBook twice with enough juice left over to charge a smart phone or a few of accessories like mouse and headphones. Unfortunately, there are no type C outputs or inputs, but the three standard USB2 ports charge most items just as well. The power input is via 2 micro USB cables which are included, and although microUSBs are a bit antiquated by today’s standards, when both are used to recharge the power bank it does charge pretty fast especially when using a high output charger. Comes with a nice fabric sleeve as well. I’m hoping to get lots of use for several years. Fingers crossed.

We're taking a kayak trip later this year. It's a week long trip without electricity, WiFi, cellular, etc, but I want to use my phone as a camera. I tested the battery at home first. With one charge, it charged my phone for a week. My phone was down to 35% - 50% battery power each time. It charged my phone fast. I'm impressed it lasted an entire week and it will definitely last our entire trip as I will have my phone on airplane mode during the day and completely off at night. There are smaller and lighter batteries which might be more conducive for a kayak trip, but I would hate to miss out on all the wonderful wildlife shots I will get. Yes I have a camera but my phone actually takes better photos!
